We went there for a concert of Belanova on August 20th. We were very excited about it because we were told that Pink Elephant Clubs are popular and have clubs in cities all over the world. We decided to have a great evening and went all the way by buying VIP tickets, all four of us. Normal tickets were 600 pesos and VIP ones were a smacking 1 500 pesos, so our expectations were high. Not only were we to be located in a central balcony only for VIP but we would not have to pay for premium bar drinks.
They lied to us and tried to get away with it.
When we arrived they brought us on the second floor, sat us on a sofa from which we could not see the stage because the ramps in front of us were already occupied by hundreds of people who obviously had not paid for vip privileges because none of them had the vip bracelet.
We asked about the special vip exclusive balcony and they first pretended that they had eliminated that seating arrangement because of the lighting for the show that blocked the view of the stage. Not true, the balcony area was there, nothing obstructed the view and it was full of people, so we asked again why were we not directed to the vip area.
Well, the story changed. They had not sold enough vip tickets to occupy this central balcony so they sold this space to a large private group instead.
We said fine, so just give us our money back and we will leave.
They begged us to give them a chance of making it up by bringing us downstairs in a seating area in front of the stage and threw in a bottle of champagne. We decided to give it a try.
When we arrived there, they removed half of a group that was already there which pissed off the rest of the remaining group and we all had a lousy evening.
Not very professional guys, i certainly wont go back there.
