One of the greatest experiences on any trip. Snorkel in the cool waters of this combination cenote / cavern. It seems, though, the prices are highly flexible as we were asked for USD 30.00 entrance fee, and when we winced a bit at the price, the manager lowered the fee to around USD 20.00 with no charge for the kids. All in all a very good experience, however.

Amazing, a scuba diving experience like no other. Worth the money! A bit of a walk from where you set up to where you enter the water.

This is by far the best part of our travels so far through Mexico and Central America. We saw information about the cenote on a blog online and decided to have a go at walking there from our hostel in Playa del Carmen. Despite being #4 on TA very few of the locals know of this place (we were stopped and offered help by at least 4 locals who thought we were out of our minds!) but it does exist and it is truly beautiful! My husband and I were fortunate enough to have the place to ourselves when we arrived. From the cool waters, to the amazing bats and serenity of the place, this has to be seen to be believed. The guys at the entrance and those that helped see us into the two cenotes were great too. A must if you're in the Playa area!!
