“Great Italian in Mexico”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

The pasta dishes were cooked perfectly (al dente) and the fruit da mare was loaded with an assortment of fish. Only issue was wine list, difficult to find specific wines of a region.

“For the special night out”
Reviewed 6 March 2014

At the Rosewood, this is the fancy night out choice. Lunch menu has more familiar and simple Italian choice.

“where you eat the first night at the Rosewood”

rather dark and cavernous decor, Italian food not really that Italian. Liked the other two restaurants at the Rosewood better.

“Brilliant food and great view”
Reviewed 10 January 2014

This is one of the best restaurants in or near Playa del Carmen. We try to go there every year when we are in the area and we have never been disappointed. The menu changes slightly every time – there are always new things. Food is basically Mediterranean although you will spot the Mexican influences here and there. We had the endive salad, home-made duck prosciutto, delicious lamb ossobuco, clams and salmon. It was all delicious. The view at night over the swimming pool and towards a lagoon always provides a wonderful atmosphere. Do book in advance, especially at high season. Although they use Open Table, during high season when the Rosewood hotel is full they stop it so you need to call to book.
