We are writing to congratulate Fairmont for developing and managing the idyllic resort at
Mayacoba. Our casita of 10 days was very private and was cleaned immaculately twice daily. Mrs Allan has a mobility disability and the staff created a perfect wooden ramp to make our entrance to the casita at night safer and easier in the darkness. Concierge Thalia made reservations for us that saved us time and money, and Samuel and Adelina made sure that our every need and wish were served at La Laguna restaurant. We were especially impressed by poolside Arturo who was eagle-eyed to anticipate our needs and those of everyone around us. In fact, during a sudden deluge of rain poolside, Adelina and Arturo ran to a drenched Mrs Allan, provided her many fresh towels and hot tea and got her out of slippery patio puddles to restaurant safety.
At the very end of our stay Samuel, Arturo, and the entire pool staff (who always remembered our name) surprised us with a Bon voyage dessert presentation poolside and posed with us for photos for our 35th Anniversary album.

Decided to stay there using points and then upgraded to delux casita room. The room was great and extremely spacious. The grounds are pretty big and you'll need to hop on a golf cart to get to the beach. On the beach many of the chairs were reserved to the beach bungalows so it was hard to get one. Service was slow and had to hunt down someone to get us drinks. The pool is not as nice as the pics show, several tiles were missing and just seemed really old or poorly made.
Restaurant food was good, not outstanding but good and pricey. Freindly staff, also recomend taking the boat tour. Would give it a 4 star but the pool and beach area/service was lacking.

This was our second stay here and as a gay couple we were treated so well . This was a Birthday trip and wine was waiting when we arrived in our casita . Everytime I stay at a Fairmont the service is always outstanding.

I recently spent four great days at the Fairmont Mayakoba and was pleasantly surprised at this gem of a property. It is an oasis of nature. I am not a golfer, yet I was amazed at the size and beauty of the property. The staff were very knowledgeable about the flowers, trees and spring fed water ways. The staff at the beach were great, big kudos' as they were bustling back and forth, keeping everyone happy and our drinks topped off. Rudolfo at the beach pool, Thalia at the concierge and the entire team were outstanding. My room was excellent, it was overlooking the natural lagoon. We really enjoyed using the bikes to get around the property. The Austrian executive chef created inspired dishes, showcasing the local seafood. We went off property, to downtown Playa in the evening. It was a busy town with tons of choices for bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Overall, I would return with my whole family as I think there is something for everyone at this resort.

Room Tip: The lagoon rooms are great. However having a beachfront condo with its on private pool, right on th...

A lovely quiet spot for families. The kids club was a big hit. . The food was fanstastic esp.the hotel near the beach.. The staff was outstanding. Most spoke very good English.
So nice not to have to check out towels for the pool are-readily available in all locations.

A special hello to Pablo who drove us to the beach many times and Arturo who works in the pool area and Ruben who waits at Laguna, the manager of Laguna,. and Julio on the boat. Thanks for being so nice!!!

Also a special hello to Mick and family from Australia. A real pleasure spending time with you.

Room Tip: The casitas on lagoon are very tranquil. Avoid area near hotel where loud construction is going on...

I BEEN THERE 4 TIMES, SO IM GOING TO WRITE A FULL EXPERIENCE OF MY 4 STAYINGS IN THERE...
I stay in different rooms, every time
The first time i stay in the main building, it feels more like a hotel atmosphere, and since that was my first time, i lovet and enjoy it since the beginning, you are far from the beach, but you dont have to worry about it, they have bikes, golf cars and a boat to take you all the way to the beach if you dont want to walk. We enjoy our selfs in there, the room, the restaurants , all the pools, the beach club, EVERYTHING ¡¡¡
We love it that much, the we start going once a year...
THE ANOTHER 3 TIMES...
I stay in all diferent kind of rooms all over the hotel complex, we stay in different "casitas", one with garden view, another with river balcony, another near the beach...
Every time we go we get PAMPERED like royalty¡¡¡
I went in different time of the year too... feb., july, october and december, the sea is always nice the sun always is shinning, AND THE SERVICE IS SUPREME ANY TIME OF THE YEAR...
The menus in all the restaurans are very nice design, the deli has a lot of choices even the room service, ( i used it one time when i come back from tulum, i were in there in a "green hotel") so i finish my vacations on the luxury and comfort, and dont leave the first nigh the room¡¡¡
YOU CAN GO IN COUPLE OR WITH THE FAMILY
I dont need to go out, but Playa del Crmen is very near.
I always come back, always , always...

Room Tip: I love the casitas

From the Sales leadership with Mark Ginna and Marianna to the guys at the beach (Oscar, Francisco, and Alfonso), Laura the operator on the phone, Ruiz and Sergio in Valet, and Jessica at Las Brisas, this hotel provides the very best service. Everyone is always friendly, happy to serve, and extremely helpful at all times. It is obvious this Hotel focuses on training and customer experience as it's primary goal. People here in Mexico provide the best service compared to others around the world but it is especially obvious here at the Fairmont Mayakoba. If you stay here you will definitely get the complete Mayan Riviera experience.

Room Tip: Choose a suite that starts with great accommodations and then with different suite options you can a...
