We spent one night here (Feb 8th) while on our way from Cancun to Xcalak. The owners seemed very nice, but, english is not their first or second language, so we were not able to do a lot of talking. The small courtyard/bar was very pretty, the room air conditioner worked well, and the room was clean & functional, and the price was very reasonable. On the negative side, there were no chairs or tables in the room, it's two blocks from the tourist area & not close to the beach - so, it's not a hotel that I'd pick as our base for a long vacation. My biggest worry was that the only parking is 'on the street', which meant that we had to completely unload the car. Frankly, I was worried about the rental car all night - as the Chinese Circus was in town, and it was located one half block down. The parking proved to be no issue, but is something that may slow me from choosing staying here again.
