Beautiful place. Great pool. Nice rooms, WIFI. It is a bit off the beaten path, but it's well worth the 10 minute ride to the most beautiful beaches you've ever seen. Lots of places to eat (shrimp fajita @ Mateo's down by the beach was best ever)or you can cook on the 2 burner stove in the room. Nice, big, new grocery store nearby. Highway from Cancun is a nice ride. We'd recomend you try the Mayan "forest and float" tour. Carlo, the manager is a great guy and will set you up. They'll pick you up in the morning and take you on an all day tour that includes a float, in a life vest down a stream, through the wilderness. It's awesome!!! Went to an all inclusive a few years ago and it was nice, but if you really want to see Mexico, this is ther place to be.

Room Tip: 8 was great

Different, interesting, and well decorated with total privacy and very secure.
Once inside it is a tropical paradise with seculded areas for sitting and wonderful light music playing. A very nice place.

We chose this hotel because of the positive reviews, and, also, its lush greenery. We were not disappointed! Walking up the spiral stairs to our room felt like a walk up a tree house, plants and flowers surrounding us every step of the way. Our room was airy and comfortable, with its contrasting white washed walls, dark furniture and warm terracotta tiles.
We loved the beautiful colors, and the whole lay-out of the property, with its many quirky and eye pleasing details. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was a little cooler than my (sissy) American husband likes, whereas for me, as a European, it was just fine.
Some reviewers complained about the location a bit off from the main drag. We didn't mind the short drive to restaurants, shops or the beach, appreciating a more quiet location. We will come again.

We stayed at yum kin for almost 4 weeks and just loved to spend our time there! it is such a beautiful and lovingly decorated place. the staff are very good people, helpful, open, caring, yet full of respect for individual needs. The room was just great, neat, clean (fettled daily, even sheets, bathroom and kitchen are taken care of if you like) and really spacy. Let alone the sun terrace and pool. In the Mornings a delicious and fresh breakfast is profided. Due to its warm and almost family-like atmosphere we found yum kin to be the perfect place to stay for us, a few days or even longer, even with children (we travelled with our 10 month old daughter). it seems recommendable though to have your own car, in order to be more flexible than with going everywhere (beach!!!) by taxi. But of course you can also rent bikes and different other stuff right at the posada too.
