“Thank you for the most incredible stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2014

We just came back from a wonderful and relaxing stay at Be Tulum. Here are the basics:

Rooms: beautifully decorated and spacious. Bottom floor rooms have an outdoor pool and top floor rooms have a jacuzzi. Both are great! Housekeeping cleaned the room in the morning and at night as well.

Food: the food was delicious. Breakfast was my favorite meal... all of the options are soooo good. The restaurant is right on the beach, we went barefoot every day. There is always good music playing. On Sundays we got live music at lunch time... the group was amazing.

Beach: the water is picture perfect and very inviting. The beach accommodations are great! You can lounge on some of the beach beds or in comfortable beanbag chairs.

Service: by far the best thing about Be Tulum. From the moment we got there we were helped by Daniel and Daniela who were extremely accommodating and welcoming. The staff at the restaurant and beach are some of the nicest people we have ever met. Guadalupe was especially lovely and we were so happy to have gotten to know her. Benjamin, Nicolas, Haziel (don't know if I'm spelling it correctly), and the rest of the staff was so warm during our entire stay. If they read this I hope they know that they are WONDERFUL people and that our stay was truly special thanks to their help and attention. Mil mil mil mil gracias.

If you are looking to be swept off your feet -- come here.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Arena rooms which were great. Next year we will get the Ocean Suite because the vie...

If you're looking for a sophisticated, boutique hotel experience in the Mayan Riviera, Be Tulum is IT! What can I say, we were married here so I suppose we have a bit of a bias. But we were chose it for a reason - it's an absolute gem. The hotel (and rooms) have a great, laid back style, but the architecture and design make everything special. We've traveled fairly extensively and there's just something about Be Tulum that captured us. It's eco-luxe at its best and, IMO, well worth the price. (That said, it ended up being almost the same price as a high-end all inclusive for a much better experience)

We stayed in the ocean view suite and wow, what a room! Up a spiral staircase was our own private oasis on the roof - expansive ocean view, lounge bed, hammocks and infinity pool. The beach at Be Tulum is also stunning and they have plenty of lounges/cabanas where you can spend the day just relaxing and enjoying their fantastic food and drinks - still dreaming of their fresh fish and ceviche (as is my husband, who is from Peru, where ceviche is practically a religion). Every afternoon there's a beach BBQ and sometimes live music. Just imagine sitting outside with a drink in hand, the ocean breeze and listening to the flamenco musicians do their thing - nothing better. The service, especially the wait staff, was a highlight. They were friendly, anticipated your needs and worked so hard to make everything perfect! We - and our wedding guests - are already talking about a return trip. And it can't come soon enough!

Room Tip: Rooms on lower floors have a private plunge pool, whereas upper rooms have jetted tubs. If the ocea...

You can't go wrong staying at Be Tulum. The location is unbeatable and service is outstanding. I booked an Ocean Room facing the beach and couldn't be happier. The room was spacious and well decorated, a perfect fit for my beach vibe. The rooftop pool was a great add-on and watching the sunset from there was amazing. Food is tasty and fresh. It's mandatory to try the spa, where I had the best massage ever. If you're into beach lifestyle, you'll be on the right spot, no doubt about it.

Room Tip: There's no bad room. But prefer the ones closer to the beach.

Loved this hotel in Tulum. Excellent food, actually the best we had during all our stay on the Riveria. Staff is great, professional but we ended up tipping 32% on every meal/beverage because they don't tell you that they add 12% to everything on the bill at checkout. Even the check you sign after each meal says "tip not included" at the bottom so we feel a little ripped off on that front, but we didn't complain to the management. That is what trip advisor is for. Rooms are super hip, mid-century meets rustic - very charming. Beds are not comfortable, very hard. Beach had lots of seaweed, not the prettiest I have seen and was expecting more beautiful water but maybe it had something to do with the time of year (August). Loved the entertainment the outdoor lounge provided. Latin Jazz singer was amazing. Cute, hip crowd. Overall, it is a special hotel, very beautiful and we would stay again.

If you don't know about the beaches of Tulum, this hotel is the best place to discover. The staff, the accommodations, the atmosphere, the spa... it doesn't get any better. I'll definitely go back again. Thank you, Be Tulum!

After a lot of research into which hotel in the area to pick, we decided to try the Be Tulum. We were looking for somewhere relaxing, without screaming children, romantic and with good service. And boy, did we find it.

The hotel is a hidden treasure. It's not too big and is carefully laid out so you feel like you're the only people staying there most of the time.

The beach front is amazing, and the fact it's only a few steps from your room is a plus. The canopy covered beds out on the beach are a lovely touch and far better than anything the other hotels offer.

We stayed in a room with our own private roof-top pool, which was really nice for the view and the privacy. The contrast as jungle meets beach is hypnotic, and you're right at the point where they join.

It's impossible to be stressed at the hotel. The staff take all the hassle out of everything; service and clenliness are impressive, and there's great attention to detail.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a romantic getaway, amazing beach and a smaller, boutique feel.

Room Tip: Rooms with a rooftop pool are worth it - as well as enjoying the beach, you can also then get a grea...
