Ambience? You got it. Have lunch ON THE OCEAN. Professional? The best in the Yucatan. Food? Hands down my favorite! In Tulum, where good food and service are second to the mysteries and history of the terrain, you can find top notch locally sourced ingredients, loving prepared CUISINE that pays tribute to it's source and adds a moderns twist.

Manager Leonardo runs the show with expert panache, everything from the bar to the waiters to the bussers, is on spot. Hands on management is apparent.

Tuesdays currently they have a $25 Tequila tasting that is a great deal, informative and intoxicating. Also follows is a pre fixe Mexican dinner which is a steal for haute cuisine on the beach.

Menus change for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Super fresh food, professional service and the Oceanside location are impossible to beat. And oh yeah, abundant parking. Come during the day and enjoy a swim and enjoy Oceanside lounges and take a swim in the deep blue.

We stayed at The Beach Tulum Hotel next door and had the pleasure of eating dinner at Ziggy's twice and free breakfast each of our 5 days there. The food is inventive, delicious, and could easily be found at any fine dining establishment back home in LA. I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dinner because it was our first two nights there, but we were very satisfied. We ate at other restaurants the rest of the other nights only because we wanted a different dining experience.

The full breakfast menu was included with our hotel and that was certainly one of the highlights of our stay. Their menu has something for everyone wanting a Mexican, European, or American breakfast. We tried several things and everything was delicious! Do order the cappuccino over the regular coffee, though. It's hotter and more flavorful than the regular coffee. I only did that on the last day and wish I had that everyday. Other than that, we were so happy staying at The Beach Tulum Hotel and eating at Ziggy's on our honeymoon!

This is the best restaurant on the beach in Tulum. The young chef is skilled and creative. He fuses classical French culinary tradition with traditional Mexican flavours and seasonal ingredients. All of our meals where cooked to perfect temperature and doneness. The courses where evenly spaced. The wait staff is very professional, speaking English well, and are attentive without being overbearing. The manager checked on us twice during the meal and also passed out warm towels to patrons during the tropical storm that blew through. The class of this restaurant is on par with some of the finest restaurants I have been to in the USA and Europe. The prices are very fair for the quality of the meal and the professional service. I intend to visit again on my next trip.

...to Ziggy's for breakfast. If only we'd known about this place at the start of vacation, we could have had breakfast here nine times instead of two. Wasted opportunity. Please learn from my mistake. The breakfast burritos are amazing, surpassed only by the best egg dish I ever had: scrambled with cheese and mint. We also could not resist the fantastically flaky croissant with Nutella, even though neither croissants nor Nutella has anything to do with Mexico. Who cares--soooooo delicious! The staff is totally charming too, though truth be told I'd go back even if the place was run by attack dogs.

My son and I went to Tulum to enjoy the day at the beach and were very lucky to find Ziggy's. We had a very nice lunch - the ceviche was delicious - and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing on their chairs on the beach.
