We ate at El Camello and had fish tacos and ceviche. The food was very good. The restaurant was full of Mexican families watching futbol (Mexico vs. Equador). It was very hot in the restaurant, and I sweated a lot. But the food was very good, with great flavors, good serving sizes, and reasonable prices.
Why go? First, its a very different experience from the tourist-focused restaurants down on the beach road. Its mostly locals, and is very authentic. Second, its also cheaper than eating at a tourist-focused restaurant. Have a little adventure and come up to town and eat at El Camello.
