“Great place on the beach”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

We stayed here for 2 nights and were very impressed with the room. We had air conditioning, a nice king bed, and a separate sitting area... also a big balcony with a hammock overlooking the beach.

Unfortunately there was a wedding on the 1st night and they partied until 3 am (obviously there is no noise restrictions here...) but other than that we had a great stay.

The restaurant was very meh. The included breakfast was gross, and unlike other hotels on the beach their restaurant wasn't on the beach but a bit farther off the beach. The nice thing though is that Ziggy's is right next door and their restaurant was great - so you can always go there.

For the price - this was definitely a great place to stay. We also stayed at las ranitas the night before and paid an extra $150 for our room which was not as nice as here.

Room Tip: we had a top floor facing the beach which was great. choose FAR from the restaurant to avoid any pot...

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location. Clean comfortable accommodation just a few steps from the beach, and what a beach! Palm trees, white sand, blue skies and no crowds. Hotel staff polite, friendly and helpful. It was a delight to be served by staff ready to meet your every need. Never had to wait for attention. Room service and beers on the beach. Room cleaned to spotless standard. Young waiters, maintenance crew and security staff were concientious, well motivated and clearly happy in their work. The clockwork organisation was a reflection of the culture clearly set by the Hotel Manager, 'Jorge'. All my hopes and expectations were exceeded. Fully deserving 5 star rating.

Room Tip: Cabanas fronting beach hear the sea, could be perceived a disadvantage. Quieter accommodation set...

Pretty place, nicely landscaped on an excellent beach. Don't expect first classes services however. No WiFi except if you are in the restaurant and then it goes out periodically. Swimming pool is a joke -filled with green algae stained water. I didn't notice the bad service others noted at check-in or the restaurant, personnel helpful when we had questions. Restaurant staff was pleasant enough, the buffet breakfast was good. All rooms have a hammock but those on the upper story are inconvenient with the deck chairs- rent a ground room if possible. Didn't eat a dinner there as there were too many other places to choose from. Not the best value for the money but still a decent place to relax and sun.

this is a tranquil getaway.....amazing beach but the best of all is the Casita...a stand alone cabina, with great A/c, super bed and large tub. The servers are excellente!! I would recommend this place for a couples getaway for sure!

Room Tip: ASl for " The Casita "

I dont know what can I say ! No kindness of the staff at the reception or at the restaurant. Dont stop there ! No water in the room, ok a problem can always happen but absolutely no excuse ! Sorry to ask you when this great problem should be solved. The bleds are awful. Staff is only there to earn money and not to welcome his clientele.

Bad service automatic tip regardless of service given in restaurant. Rude and inconsiderate guard named Bartelo which will tell your friends to pay a fee if they come visit you.
Find another place to stay where the customer is respected and is treated well.

Needed lodging for our last night in Mexico and found Los Lirios on Priceline. It was a shot in the dark and we really lucked out!

Check in and out was free of surprises and staff was helpful and nice. Property is beautifully landscaped with soft sand paths through natural vegetation with the ocean as the backdrop. Our room was described as "garden view" but it faced the ocean (across a garden) -- it looked as if all rooms are ocean view -- with t he 2 back buildings having a very narrow ocean view. Breakfast (included) was good with plenty for my kids to eat. Beach gorgeous - soft sand, soft entry, wide, plenty of shade, etc. Rarely bothered by merchants. Far enough from kite sailing to not have to worry about being knocked unconscious! Rooms are large and all have patios with hammocks. Seems like room either has a safe or has a fridge -- but not both.

THe only negatives, and they're minor are: we had no hammock, ours was broken/taken down AND I was travelling with my kids, a 12 yo boy and 2 10-year old girls and they thought the topless women were "disgusting" and "inappropriate" and "embarrassing" ;-)

Room Tip: The 2 buldings in the back have the smallest ocean view.
