We got in touch with Paolo through some TA reviews. We were not disappointed. Although we called him around 6pm for a dive the next morning, he got it organized, meeting us directly at the restaurant were we had dinner to fill out the paperwork. He had already a group of advanced divers for the next morning, so he called Julia, a cave diving professional freelancer in Tulum. On the next day we left the hotel with Julia at 7'30am to be at 8am at the Dos Ojos Cenote entrance for 2 dives. We were completely alone, no other divers! We did the first dive without anybody else around. Apparently the water was therefore even more clear than usual, with no particles moving around yet (from the movement of other divers).
Very very impressive. Coming back from the first dive all other dive operators had arrived on site. Quite a change of atmosphere!
We did a snorkel tour with my girlfriend (who does not dive) and Julia.
After this, we went for a second dive which was even more impressive than the first one.
If you want to dive a Cenote around Tulum, we can just warmly recommend to get in touch with Paolo or Julia, who will make it an unforgettable experience. The 2 dives at Dos Ojos are among the best ones I ever did! And being the first ones on site makes a difference!
