Playa paraiso is the most beautiful beach, we took the collective to Tulum and then a taxi to playa paraiso for 50 pesos. Spectacular beach and very fun waves to play in. We rented a cushy double lounge bed with a table and umbrella for 200 pesos (around 15$) for the day and had personal wait service with that, he will run and get you anything you want and keep a running tab. Awesome beach and well worth the trip.

“Beautiful, chilled but a bit pricey”
Reviewed 17 November 2013 via mobile

Beaches can't get much better than that. It's absolutely beautiful, water is so crystal clear and there's plenty of space on the beach for everyone. We enjoyed the sunbeds (50 each), cold beers (35) and food on the beach and while the grub was decent enough, it was actually a bit overpriced. I guess that's how it is these days on a tropical paradise beach - after all, these people have to make a living too - but I don't think I'd do it every day.
That said, you can come here, even if you're not going to eat or drink, just lounge on the sunbeds, 50 for one for a whole day isn't really a bad price. Or if you'd rather not pay, you can just lie on the sand too, plenty of people doing that. In any case you won't be sorry if you come here.

This is not the best beach you have ever seen, has areas were is rocky and water seem always rough to swim, but it has a beautiful bluish/green color, and sand is white and powdery.Kids seem to love it because you can surf

“Very good looking beach”
Reviewed 31 October 2013

The beach is great, the water is very very clear and calm, great for some snorkeling. There is not much development here, it is mostly just the beach and the sea. I would recommend bringing an umbrella, as the sun is very strong here. Also its a good idea to bring your own food as there is not much to buy.

“Playa Paraiso @ Tulum Sept 2013”
Reviewed 25 October 2013

Love the beach as it is one of the most beautiful beaches around, however, if you visit this location and you rent a lounger to watch the sea....you can also eat. Well, the food has gone downhill over the last few years and the prices are too high for the type of food. Service is also not very good over the last little while. Very sad but very true. You can choose not to rent a sunbed or eat, but then you just have to throw you towel on the beautfiul white sand and enjoy the sea and scenery from that vantage point. With that all said, it is a very beautiful area and worth the visit but choose your 'beach club' wisely. There are plenty of them in the area. (we found a new one!) Oh and the washrooms are only for paying customers.
