This place was so incredibly awesome. It was much more than I expected. We were headed to Dos Ojos until our taxi driver said this cenotes trumps all the rest. Boy was he right. Our guide was awesome and took a ton of pictures throughout the tour. We even learned a ton because our guide was so knowledgable. Highly recommend this one.

Most impressive cenote I've seen for snorkelling, and very cheap too! A truly different sight discovered while swimming in shallow waters

we didn't have to pay extra for a guide so i'm confused about other reviewers stating that they did. our guide took us and a group of 8 through the caves. he was very nice and we had fun. the main problem was that once we started, we were done after 30 min with no option to go back. i think going with a guide is a must because you aren't allowed to touch or do certain things. it came with everything you need. keep your things in the car; it was safe there.

We saw Dos Ojos right before this cenote and it was a very different experience -- this cenote was much darker, the ceiling and stalactites were much lower -- as some points only inches from your head above the water...and it was a much more closed in feeling but that didn't bother us. Edwin was a very nice guide who gave us facts about the cenote along our tour and was very knowledgable. It was cool to see the big tree roots hanging down through the caves into the water, as well as the small hole/opening in one end of the cave, which a big tree trunk had grown down into. Very beautiful! Definitely worth it -- especially if you're already in the area!

We got to explore it basically by ourselves, which is really nice when comparing it to others that get full tour buses. The cenote is beautiful.
