After lovely day touring the ruins we accepted our taxi drivers suggestion and stopped to visit a beer drinking donkey and browse through a flea market. We had been made to believe that the prices would be far better and there would be no need for haggling. Wrong on both. Nothing in the store was unique, nor were the prices and the vendor was the first to initiate the pricing game. We negotiated a price for a beautiful hammock, some home made tequila and a silver ring. We choose to pay with a credit card however there was an issue with their point of sale terminal and after two failed transactions we paid cash. Immediately we called MasterCard and alerted them of the situation so that we would not see any credit transactions on our card and were assured that we would not. Unfortunately, the credit card payment was processed twice after paying cash and the credit card company done nothing but offer us 100 airmiles as compensation. Please do not use your credit card here... or better, save your money for another vendor.
