The location is secluded and perfect for a romantic getaway. We've been to Mezzanine three times and it continues to shine. The thai restaurant is our favorite place to eat in Tulum. Totally chill, except Friday night when there's a DJ and dancing. Be prepared to stay up!

'Mezzanine' is a 'must do' part of any trip to Cancuun and Tulum. 5 star service on a perfect beach in Mexico. Facilities are brilliant with the service and staff even better.

myself and my boyfriend have stayed at mezzanine four years in a row and will definitly continue to go back every year we love it so much..everytime we have been we have had an amazing experience the staff are amazing and cannot do enough and make you feel so welcome and nothing you ask is out of the question...

Our rooms were always kept spotlessly clean and always fresh cold water waiting in our rooms,

the beach is right on your doorstep with sunbed and umberella's provided if you wish to go to the beach which the staff carry down for you just so you dont have to lift a finger!and also canoe and snokel equipment if you wish

everyday is a great fun happy hour with nice music and great people,
i cannot recommend mezzanine enough and am planning my next trip already!!!

The food was amazing, the hotel is beautiful, the beach is spectacular and they brought the night life to you. They had a rocking party with DJ and live music on Saturday night. It was first class all the way. Very cool. Their sister hotel "La Zebra" had great food and a rocking salsa night on Sundays.

We stayed in Mezzanine for 6 nights on our third trip to Mexico, but our first to Tulum. Tulum is stunning and incredibly relaxed. It feels like you are in a very local part of Mexico, with many locals coming down in the evenings and mornings with their kids to have a swim.

Mezzanine itself was beautiful. We stayed in Room 10 which has a picture perfect view straight out over the Caribbean Sea, and a huge balcony where we would spend a lot of time reading, relaxing and enjoying the view. The food is great, the staff are lovely, the beer is cheap! I read another review talking about the noise of the fiesta on Friday night - to that reviewer I say, what did you expect? It is very well signposted - the staff made us aware it was going to be on (right below our room), it's on the website, we were very clear that it was likely that night we would not get to bed early! It is one night, and if you don't like it, don't stay there that night - simple!

We also did a day trip to Chichen Itza from here which was great, and also checked out the local Tulum ruins (just down the beach) - also beautiful.

Overall we would not hesitate to recommend Mezzanine to anyone, and very much hope to return again.

I stayed at Mezzanine with my boyfriend for 5 days in April 2010. We had an ocean view room which i highly recommend. The room was more beautiful than on the website. Air conditioning was not an issue whatsoever as there is constantly a breeze from the sea. The beach is beautiful and not crowded at all. The staff was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The food was good, especially the breakfast. 2 for 1 margaritas everyday and they are great. I have been to other parts of Mexico and from now on will only go to Tulum. The town was great and the bars along the beach are fun. There is a very beautiful beach at the ruins which I highly recommend visiting. Loved everything about Tulum and Mezzanine.
