The facilities were great, the people were great, the food was very tasty. The only issue I have is the entertainment at night. It was by far the weakest production I have ever experienced and after the show that ends at 9:30, there is nothing. If you are in for romantic dinners, nice walk with the one your with, this place is great. If you are looking for entertainment with some drinks after 9:30, the drinks are there but the place is very quiet.

We stayed here in August 2013 and had a fantastic holiday. The garden room was quite big with 2 double beds and a small lounge area. The food was fantastic especially in the Italian and French restaurants but the Chinese, beach grill and buffet offered lovely food too. The Coco Cafe was fabulous to get out of the heat and a flaming coffee is a real treat. The bar service was great and the cocktails were lovely. The smoothie bar was a big hit with the kids. The entertainment team were great and worked really hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The beach was beautiful with white powdery sand but just watch out for a few rocks in the sea. The morning walk to the sink hole is a must but flippers are recommended as it's a difficult swim against the current!
We had a great time and would love to try the other Dreams hotels.

Room Tip: Garden view room was good - other people that had paid extra for an ocean view didn't seem any b...

My Partner and i stayed at this hotel end of June.
The weather was fantastic, very hot, had a heavy rain shower just one afternoon..
Our Room was spotless, spacious an very clean, well stocked fridge of branded drinks which was topped up daily.
Beach beautiful, cleaned every day, some rocks in water which makes getting in an out sea a bit difficult. Enjoyed watching the pelicans diving for fish while we sipped delicious cocktails brought to us by waiter service on beach. Plenty of sun/loungers .
We have been all inclusive before but this is by far our best experience. Buffet service for Breakfast, excellent choices, branded cereals kellogs, plenty of choices food excellent very fresh.
Snack bar by pool, excellent, choice burgers ,hotdogs, salads drinks machines and ice, no queueing.
Excellent choice of various restaurants in evenings,, with waiter service. People dress smart for evening. Food was excellent quality.
Air/conditioned Coffee shop by pool. was excellent, lovely cappuccinos and cakes.
The gardens are immaculate, lots of iguanas.
All in Best holiday we have had, cant wait to go back.

Our first time to this area and the Dreams Hotel was in all a wonderful experience. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Rooms very nice we had an adjoining room for our 2 boys of 9 and 11. They don't inter join but a shared front door and 2 completely separate rooms. Great security as if you left either door open for access during the night security would come and check all was Ok.

Nice pool and the beach area fantastic. The water activities are superb and the snorkelling and scuba team were really great ( Miguel and Jamie) got me through my Padi course and my two boys of 11 and 10 did a 50 minute DIve fantastic.

The al la carte are quite good but strict on long trousers for guys which is a good thing, my 11 year old was questioned every night as he had shorts on is 11 but looks 14!

The trips of shell ka was an amazing day although we dido this on our own to have a full day. Zip wires over the sea , zip bikes and cenote swimming was a very special day.

Dolphin discovery was am unique experience swimming with Manatees ( surreal) and the swim with dolphhins was very well done as was the sea lion interaction. This was followed by 2 hours on a catamaran which even got my wife in the water for snorkelling which I never thought I would see. The only downer to this day was Virgin told us the group sizes were 8 but were 13-15 which made it quite drawn out and the photos they take of the morning are an absolute rip off.You cannot take your own pictures and it's £50 per person at thee nod for the disc and album of 28 photos. No option to buy any less than this package. After a lot of haggling I paid £160 ! Still very expensive.

Paradise beech is wonderful.

Only down side to resort, evening entertainment was poor and the kids club is fine for up to 8 year olds but the video games and x box did not work at all during our stay. Sometimes good for kids to get out the sun for a ,awhile but this was not an option for our older boys.

We travelled from Aug 7 - Aug 11 to check out the resort for our potential (not booked) April wedding.

We stayed in a Premium Ocean View Junior Suite 8232. The room was gorgeous. The Ocean View was barely if you really stuck your head out of the balcony..but regardless, the location was amazing. We were steps from the pool and the ocean and I highly recommend. The upgraded bath products were amazing. No musty smell in the room (usually there is in resort rooms) and the elevator was nice. The bed was one of the most comfy beds I have ever slept in...better than my bed at home even!

We were not fans of the World Café buffet for breakfast or dinner. I will caveat that I am not a buffet fan, but regardless, we found the food boring, cold and sitting for a while. The egg station was only so so also. No meats for the eggs, just veggies.

Seaside Grill was delicious for both breakfast and lunch. The view was unparelled. We also ate lunch at the grill by the Dolphin Pool (burgers and nachos were great) as well as the place by the quiet pool..the name is escaping me..but the food was yummy

Wine Cellar: special call out. Manuel at the Wine Cellar is unparalleled. He is the most knowledgable and personable sommelier I have ever encountered. The Wine Cellar is attached to the Italian restaurant. You buy 1 bottle of wine (ranging from low 30s and up) and then Manuel creates a 5 course dinner, leveraging dishes from the Italian, French, Japanese and Steak restaurant. I say leverage because he works with each chef to tweak the dish to make it unique. For example, our salad course came from French restaurant, but instead of honey mustard and blue cheese, it had different cheese, dressing and I think asparagus. It was amazing and special. I loved that you really got to sample all the different restaurants in one sitting, have a great bottle of wine and truly have an EXPERIENCE. We went there 2x and was worth every penny.

amazing. The towel game is disgusting in my opinion and I did see the beach butlers removing towels from the chairs..bravo. We sat under a palm tree every day in front of the Seaside Café. For us..less crowded and the sand was great. Yes there is a barrier reef in the water but you can see it in the water...just don't step on it. Other than that..not rocky in the least bit. There is a roped off area that you can walk in no problem over by the trampoline. It was amazing looking towards the ruins and seeing the ocean, sand and jungle...amazing site to see

amazing as everyone says. Manuel is amazing. You must visit him in the Wine Cellar. Limbereth at the lobby bar is a 10. The only place we got a decent drink was from him. His bloody ceasars are the best I have had. Neysi at the beach ran dranks like a champ. She was so sweet and friendly and ensured we always had cold beers.

Like every all inclusive, the drinks are not strong. They taste almost watery even with shots on the side. The only place we got good drinks was the lobby bar. I always assume that they do that because if people were getting good stiff drinks at the beach, everyone would be drunk in 1 hour. Regardless...typical. What I did like was the beer in cans. there was an assortment of beers in cans, not the draft plastic cups...and that was a nice change of pace.

We booked our April wedding and cannot wait. the grounds are gorgeous, the staff is amazing, the beach is great and overall a wonderful resort.

We booked 2 night at Dreams as a bit of a treat on our honeymoon after seeing the sights of Chichen itza, Ek Balam and Coba. We didn't no what to expect and were concerned it was going to be full of drunken yobbish behaviour with all the free drinks. Firstly with such a variety of juice, coffee and bar bars in general nobody showed signs of over indulgence. Food was also excellent in particular the Italian which was top quality. Breakfast in the World Cafe offered pretty much all possible breakfast combinations to a good standard. We had one of the new swim up hacienda rooms which was just amazing. In the heat if the day we would return from the beach or pool and chill out in our own little space with pool, hammock and stocked mini bar just in case. Bed was amazingly soft and felt very good quality and the Jacuzzis bath plug which didn't seal was sorted out very quickly without any fuss. For us quite an adventurous couple we would stay again but like this time say 3 days as we want to go exploring. We loved it but for us the normality would set in if we stayed much longer.
