The owners were so helpful and attentive. This was dinately a highlight for us.
Loto Tulum is beautiful, a little bit of tranquility tucked away from the Tulum centre but still very walkable.
Really nice apartments, very clean, quit location just perfect stay i highly recomend this place and a very fair price not to expensive.
This is a lovely place to find and enjoy. We cooked several meals here and had a quiet and clean place to call our home for a week. The neighborhood is a bit out of the way for the touristy thing, but we happily rented bikes in town and biked in the neighborhoods, went to the beach, and the ruins from here. I would highly recommend this place if you are not looking for the touristy version of a vacation and want a clean and quiet place to return to each evening.
My partner and I stayed here for a few days while we were in Tulum. The apartment was lovely and quiet with a nice pool to hang out by. The internet was great in the front area and out by the pool but not so good in the back room for some reason. As we rented an apartment we wanted to cook our own food, but there was some items missing. The owner kindly brought over requested items as asked which was great. She also accommodated us last minute as our airbnb vacation rental fell through that morning. This place unfortunately is not close to town and so you need to either prepare to walk around 10-15 minutes to the edge of Tulum, or rent a bike, or car to get around. Taxi was around $30 pesos to the bus station, and a collectivo could be around that to get to the beach which would be around 4+ miles depending on where you go. I would definitely recommend this place if you don't mind being a little bit out of town.

This is a lovely, spacious apartment, you do not feel crowded in any of the three rooms, bedroom, bathroom and living room/kitchen area. There is a stovetop and a coffee percolator (with ground coffee and a bottle of water provided). There is also a good-sized fridge. The apartment is nice & clean, and the single fresh flowers in bottles are a nice touch. It is decorated nicely, and the wifi reception in our apartment was excellent.
There was a power outage during the night while we were there, so we also greatly appreciated the three candles in the bathroom - but make sure you have matches or a lighter, as I searched the apartment & couldn't find any (and the stovetop ignition wasn't working of course because the power was out). Luckily we remembered we had a lighter somewhere in the backpack but if you are non smokers you are not likely to be traveling with anything like that so come prepared, I'm guessing power outages could be a common thing?
One very minor issue - I would have liked some dishwashing detergent & a scrubbing brush or cloth in the kitchen sink - there isn't anything to do washing up, if you do use the kitchen facilities, I just had to rinse everything & couldn't wipe down the bench when done. I guess if you were staying a week you would go out & buy stuff like that, and some soap for the shower.
You need a car to stay here I would advise - you are a long way from the beach and the ruins - but we had hired one so of course that was no big deal. We arrived in the middle of a torrential downpour & found it difficult to find, the roads become quite flooded when it rains, and if you put the address into your satnav it takes you to another apartment at the opposite end of the street, so ignore the sat nav & follow your host's directions carefully!
