I run a bed and breakfast and I agree with evrything that has been said. Marc has found a special niche. I am returning to Avon to not only ski but to feast on his fare again!

This group of skiers stumbled on Food! by Marc and broke tradition by returning to dine here 3 times during the same week. We come from a city with high dining standards (Charleston, SC) and were amazed by what Marc and his staff serves in an unassuming setting. The best part of the experience is to eat and drink at the counter that overlooks the intimate kitchen. Marc and the other chefs invite questions and special requests, and indeed practically created our menu as we talked. It all makes for a fun, entertaining, and satisfying evening that is the perfect compliment to an active day.

The food was delicious! Very nice presentation! We didn't have room in the restaurant, so they catered the dinner to us in our condos. The ribs and salads were particularly delicious!

Long-time local chef Marc Rouse's newest venture melds his love of food with his love of teaching others about food. The lovely decor (a modern aesthetic, warmed by reclaimed beetle-kill wood) offers guests the option to either sit at a table, or to sit along the long bar facing the kitchen. For those who are interested, sitting at the bar can be an opportunity to learn more about food and cooking, as if you were invited into a friend's kitchen who just happenes to be a chef.

The very reasonably priced cocktails, excellent house wines and small plates are substantially less expensive than at comparable restaurants in the Vail Valley. The ingredients are top quality and the pairings interesting. Restaurant patrons benefit from Marc's experience as a private chef specializing in healthy, locally-sourced food.

Located on the Northern side of The Seasons building, park out front of the building, or ask the building concierge for a garage pass. Walk through the lobby, past the fire place and out the rear doors of the building. The door to the restaurant is immediately on your left.
