L'Ancrage Bed & Breakfast
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 19 September 2013

We booked a last minute one night stay at L'Ancrage, a newly opened B&B for a day trip to Kouchibouguac, as part of our maritime driving holiday. Our room and furnishings were very comfortable, breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and Liane was a great host. She not only concerned herself with our experience at her B&B, but also recommended a local place to eat (somewhere she had vetted herself), and programs for the park. The weather wasn't great the day we were to spend at the park, but the B&B will be well remembered.

My wife, toddler and I stayed in early August 2013 for three days while visiting the Park. The views over the Kouchibouguacis River at breakfast were stunning. Although it had literally just opened, we would never had known it if we weren't told. Owners Liane and Kores were very helpful and friendly. On one of the nights we were there, a massive power outage shut down the whole town and surrounding area. We could not get dinner or any food anywhere. Liane made us sandwiches and literally saved us.

We enjoyed staying at this lovely B&B on August 2013.
Our room was very comfortable, The view from the outside deck (where you can have your breakfast) is very nice. Excellent breakfast. And last but not lease, very nice and helpful hosts.

We absolutly agree and had the same experience as described in previous posted review by "Steven B".

We love this B&B - it's amazing. First of all great hosts. Liane and Kores are very nice people with a great feel for service and friendliness. Secondly, the place is beautiful! Nice room(s) en-suite, clean, bright and a lovely ambiance. The view on the river and land around is impressive. Then there is breakfast: or should I call it breakfast for royalty? Healthy fruits and berries, juices, breads and more
The breakfast room is nice (also has the view on the river) or you can sit outside in or out of the sun. We loved it and we will be back soon!

Room Tip: Rooms on the river side are the best. Especially the one at the end of the back on the second floor.
