Landing at Orly at 10.20 p.m. I was pleased to see a shuttle bus with 'Ibis Hotel' on the side as I left the terminal. I was told be the driver that I should walk as it was only three minutes away. 20 minutes later I found the hotel, with the help of some airport taxi drivers who helped me work out how to get to it; I then joined the long slow queue to check in.

I was then pleased to see that they served hot food 24 hours so went down to the bar/restaurant. I eventually found a member of staff who told me they only had a cold salad buffet available (or what was left of it), so I went for that. I asked the waitress if I could have a beer and was told I had to go to the bar and get it myself. (To add injury, when I left, the teller looked at my table, and seeing an empty beer glass on my table added the price of a beer to my tab even though it was already paid for!).

The rooms are ibis Budget without the glamour. They fact that they advertise the fact that have 'new beds' as a key selling points gives you an idea of what the rest of the room is like.

Breakfast did not improve. The offering was pretty pathetic - there was not bowls for the cereal and no glasses for the fruit juices, and none arrived whilst I was there. A pretty dismal experience.

If you are really tired after a long trip and are absolutely desperate, this is better than a tent in the car park, but even at budget standards, the staff have no concern over you welfare and it is only useful if you don't want to pay for the Hilton.

When we missed our connection, the airline put us up at this hotel. It is adjacent to the parking lots so the transfer is easy from the terminal via the airport shuttle. The stop for the shuttle back to Orly Ouest is out of the way so you really have to search for it. We spent some time at the bar at it was value priced. Our dinner was nice as was the breakfast buffet. The rooms are tiny with the bath a bit larger than an airplane bathroom. Overall a decent place to sleep adjacent to the airport.

Paris Orly airport is not really an amazing place to stay and most of hotels are not nearby the airport ; this one could not be near as you can see the plane from the window ; pricely correct , rooms are small but convinient . Very small bathroom but for a transit before catching your airplane , this is perfect . The restaurant downstairs change the formula and they are now offering a very nice buffet and some nice plates . Parking is quite expensive but everything so nearby the airport are the same . If you don't have your own transportation , might be a challenge to reach the bus and find the terminal , this is the only black point on this hotel .

We stayed here for just a night before an early morning AF flight to Biarritz. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable and was just what we needed, with very good staff with English language skills. The location is fine for one terminal, but for the Air France terminal it was a very confusing walk the following morning at 5am. We couldn't understand where the transfer was, so ended up going alongside busy roads, through tunnels, and finally we hit a huge huge underground mostly deserted car park, till we arrived at the hire car area and finally the terminal. Quite the unexpected adventure. Still, as stated, the hotel is good, but do check you know the times and location of the transfer the night before.

Comfortable room, reasonable bathroom, very clean. Not much storage space but airport hotels are never used for more than one night so drawers and shelves are not really so important. No complaints. Wifi reliable and reasonably fast.

Room Tip: Has smoking and no-smoking rooms which is quite rare these days.

We've stayed at the Ibis Orly perhaps a dozen times. Ir's ideally suited for an overnight stay on the way out of or into Paris Orly Airport. It is VERY convenient. There is a circulator bus (coach) that connects the various car parks with the 2 terminals - Orly Ouest and Orly Sud. Tthis is the only hotel of which we're aware that is connected by airport coach to both the car parks and terminals. Once one exits a terminal, simly hop on the coach and in 5 to 10 minutes one is at the terminal. Rooms are small, especially for 2 people, but for us the convenience is worth it. There is a restaurant of sorts in the lobby that serves simple food and drink. Breakfast opens at 0400. Free computer terminals for guests are in the lobby near the reception - great for checking in on line. Found it less expensive and better quality than most other hotels near Orly. Can be quite noisy at times during flight operations. Area around the hotel is a bit of a mess at the moment as Orly makes improvements. Staff indicated that the hotel will be expanding soon. Location, location, location.
