We loved staying at Casa de la Noche. It is very walkable to the Centro and such an interesting place to be in SMA. Ambience is great with fountains and artwork everywhere. Barbara and her staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts were delicious with good variety, and the guests mix very easily and share information; we really enjoyed talking to others about their SMA experiences.
One cautionary note - we stayed in Madam's Suite which was lovely - however the bedroom is at the front of the building right on the street, so there was noise. Some of this was very charming (e.g. the vendor selling corn gruel) but mostly not (like motorcycles). I'd recommend packing some earplugs.
Rooms further back are much quieter I'm sure. And I still give this place 5 stars!
