This time I had the opportunity to visit this facility with my family. Overall it was a great experience, great service of the staff at all the time and a lot of activities to do with the kids.
I recomend the hotel's bar called Luna, which has an amazing view of all San Miguel Allende with the right atmosphere.
Looking forward to return at any time.

Room Tip: ask for the junior suites. great option for families up to 4

Rooftop bar at the Rosewood is a must. Beautiful view at sunset. Great drinks (although you'll pay) and very tasty tapas plates. Sometimes we prefer to eat a lite dinner and this was excellent and special. Best to make a reservation.

This is a beautiful hotel, very well laid out with just about all of the amenities one would expect from a first class hotel. Relative to other options in the area, it is very new, and therefore provides all the modern conveniences one hopes to have when visiting a foreign country. It happens to be in a great location and while I am sure that there are smaller, charming and accommodating hotels in SMA, for a hotel this size, I was surprised at how intimate the service was. I had a great room with a private terrace and all of the public spaces, both inside and outside the building, were very attractive and welcoming. In fact, whoever designed the hotel stayed true to the colonial architecture and feel of the place, without crossing the line into a caricature of what a hotel in Mexico should look like. The pool area was surprisingly beautiful and inviting and I would probably make more use of it the next time that I am there. Anyone considering the hotel will have seen pictures of its rooftop bar. As pretty as those pictures are, nothing beats the real thing. Just outstanding--and the drinks and tapas on offer are great. The one thing the hotel lacked? A proper gift shop. If I wanted a magazine or newspaper, or a snack item or drink, or a gift item to take back with me (even something as basic as an item with Rosewood San Miguel printed on it), there was nothing on offer. Given the size of the hotel and all of its wonderful amenities, this did come as a surprise.

Room Tip: I understand the weather in SMA to be very nice year around, so for that reason, I might want to spe...

The rooftop bar at the Rosewood Hotel is a fabulous way to view the gorgeous city of San Miguel de Allende. We did not stay at the hotel, but if the service in the rooftop bar is any indication, this would be a fabulous stay. The staff is attentive, the drinks are excellent, and the tapas were delicious. We went twice to this 4th floor locale for one of the best views of the city and parroquia (church), and stayed several hours -- as the sunset changed the view with incredible hues. Seating is comfortable, with umbrellas to shade you from the sun, and heaters to warm you later. Don't miss this opportunity for San Miguel's best view, while enjoying classic margaritas and tasty tapas.

Delightful travel experience at the Rosewood. The resort has an excellent sense of style and space, the style being the rustic Mexican design, furniture, artwork, etc and the space being the roominess of the place. The Rosewood was full during our stay but you never would have known it. The design is a part of the reason as this is not a place with long corridors lined with rooms. We enjoyed the pool, the rooftop Luna restaurant (no better place for a nightcap), the workout room, even one of many seating areas where we read for an hour or so. We have travelled a lot and rate this near the top. San Miguel will appeal to anyone who likes Santa Fe, Santa Barbara, And Scottsdale.

The Rosewood Hotel in San Miguel de Allende has a policy whereby guests must stay TWO nights in a row on weekends! This makes a stay at the Rosewood extremely expensive but that does not take away from the fact that their Sunday brunch is absolutely delicious!
There is a great variety of fruits, omelettes, popular Mexican "pan dulce" as well as gourmet Mexican dishes such as menudo, barbacoa, quesadillas, guacamole, barbecued beef strips......etc.....There are delicious Mimosas, excellent coffee, wonderful pancakes, waffles And crepes! Delicious!

Rooms are very spacious, service is excellent, the food is great in all of the restaurants (especially in 1826), that SPA and the massages are super nice.

The hotel is located about 5 minutes walking distance from all the stores and streets.
