“Nice Surprise in San Miguel”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Cafe Rama is located near the Rosewood Hotel and they couldn't be more different. From the moment you step inside it's a visual feast: eclectic and hip, colorful and interesting everywhere you look. The food is excellent, too. I had fish & chips for lunch (I know, it sounds strange for Mexico) and they were delicious, although the 'chips' were housemade potato chips. The fish was lightly battered and not greasy and served with delicious housemade tartar sauce. I've heard they also have wonderful desserts. There's a lovely jewelry shop to browse as an added bonus.

“great upscale trendy cantina”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

san miguel is lucky to have the Rama, the decor is totally interesting and cool, the atmosphere very welcoming, eclectic, relaxed and refined.

the food is a nice mix and it is inventive, the bohemian owner is often there minding the business and he is the artist behind the paintings on the walls and the menu on your table.

this is relaxed refined quality slow dining, if you are in a hurry and want to experience german efficiency move on, this place is for relaxed easy going refined dining, fi the boss is there u are in luck as he is one of the most charming restauranteurs artists raconteurs you ll meet.

enjoy.

“Great food and ambiance”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

Cafe Rama is a charming restaurant next door to the Rosewood Hotel. The place is very charming with great ambiance. The food was really good. We were there for brunch on a Sunday and everything we ate was very well prepared and delicious. I will definitely eat there again when I am back in San Miguel.
