“Very nice.”

The Mirasol was very nice. This was our first visit to San Miguel and location was very important to us. This hotel is centrally located. You are able to walk to shops and restaurants and town square. The hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast was very good and recommendations for lunch and dinner were exactly what we needed. The bed was my only personal concern. It was very firm and I needed softer. I consider that my problem, not theirs. I would recommend this hotel.

After much research, I and my 3 lady friends elected to stay our 5 nights in San Miguel at this hotel. We could not have made a better choice. I read many reviews of this hotel and I cannot add to them about the location to the town center, the bright and clean room conditions, the full breakfast service and the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff specifically Ms. Vega. The ambiance of the place cannot be overlooked with it collection of varied art paintings and assortment of potted plants and flowers. For the price ( a little over $120.00 per night) I think you get one of the finest accommodations in San Miguel. There are a number of fine restaurants within walking distance or a short cab ride with a fare of 50 pesos. If we have a chance, I am 85, we will be back We all highly recommend this fine establishment.

Room Tip: The 3rd floor is a hard climb. There is no lift. However the lower rooms are subject to the street n...

This small, 12 room hotel, was absolutely perfect! We were in SMA for 4 nights for a wedding...this location was exactly what we needed....a short walk from the Cathedral and Plaza.
Now, breakfast is American, not Continental, and is delicious. The staff and service was extremely friendly, helpful....the room was spotless, the gardens so very lovely....location perfect!

Room Tip: we stayed in Bella Vista, second floor....very nice!

We recently spent four nights at the Villa Mirasol and highly recommend it. Our room was very bright and clean, , the breakfast excellent and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is very convenient to the historic area and close to many great restaurants. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see.

This is a great little hotel with a beautiful ambiance. The location is within easy walking distance to El Jardin, the central plaza. A continental breakfast is complimentary but other food options are also available. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially with our early morning departure. The rooms are very clean with a cozy, homey feel. We enjoyed our 4 days here.

On this trip, this was our first stop.( 20° 54.7647'N, 100° 44.8393' W )San Miguel is not the easiest city to travel into and the center of the town multiplies the difficulty by a lot. In fact, this provides me with the only negative note about this hotel (as well as any hotel in the town centre): there is no parking. We had to pay the equivalent of 10.00 per day to have someone take our car somewhere. We obviously did not need it since everything was close by. And that is one of the nicest note of this hotel: location, location, location. It took 6 minutes to get to the “Zocalo” in this case the town center or, as San Miguel calls it, the Jardin principal. Our room, called Escondido, was a pleasure. A mini suite, it had a nice lounging area and a separate bedroom with 2 double beds. The breakfast was included in the price of the room which was a nice touch. Of course it was a continental breakfast but you could have anything you wanted such as huevos divorciados for a slight charge. (Huevos divorciados, or "divorced eggs," is a Mexican breakfast featuring two fried eggs separated by a column of chilaquiles (although sometimes, refried beans with tortilla chips are substituted). Typically, one egg is covered in salsa roja, while the other is covered in salsa verde, giving them distinct and complementary flavor. (Wikipedia)). The rooms are surrounded by outdoor spaces which is really nice but which can be a problem when guests who don’t care about their neighbors talk and laugh until 1:30 in the night. The bedroom also had a recessed area for working, writing, surfing. And the bathroom, to say the least, was magnificent. All in all, a very nice room in this hotel, well worth the price charged.

Well located near downtown by a walking distance, clean, very good service, with parking facilities and a good size hotel.
Has nice decoration and a balcony were you can chat, have a drink and from my room I could see the towers of the church and hear the bells ring.
I truly recommend this Villa to stay in your next trip to San Miguel de Allende.
