Be careful, my cell phone was stolen by the employees in the room. The parking lot is too far, you have to wait 20 minutes until the valet parking goes... Not recommendable! It's also very noisy! AVOID THIS HOTEL!!

We are very sorry to hear your comments but in the 15 years casa linda has been open we have Never Had anything stolen from our hotel.

Besides our committed trustful and honest staff, all rooms are equipped with modern safeboxes to keep your valuables safe and security cameras on the common areas to keep our guests and their property totally safe.
We are one of the few hotels in san miguel that have our own parking lot and we do not charge our guests for this service unfortunelty sometimes due to the many festivities and procesions in san miguel the streets are closed thats why we kindly ask our guests to let know the staff 15 min before they need their car.

Thank you for staying with us
Kind Regards.

We just returned from San Miguel this week. There was so much to love about our 7 night stay at CasaLinda. I loved the interior garden and the feel of the courtyard... It was beautifully landscaped and there was always some shade I could retire in as we'll as sun when I wanted some. The manager, Octavio, was exceptional. One day Richard mentioned that he loves a kind of Mexican pork and Octavio surprised us with a lovely plate of it as well as fantastic guacamole and chips when we returned that afternoon. The roof top bar also was a nice relaxing place to chill in the evening with a wonderful view of beautiful architecture and night time stars... The margaritas where good too. I loved not being surrounded by only Americans as well.... We didn't go to Mexico to do that. It was a nice international mix of Americans, French, Spanish, German and Mexican guests. The fireplace in our room was soooo nice to return to in the evenings and I loved just relaxing on the couch in front of it. I enjoyed the spaciousness of our room and the beautifully tiled bathroom. I liked being across from the theater...we saw 2 very good performances while there...flamenco dancers and a Mexican Baroque? Orchestra. Thank you for a wonderful introduction to San Miguel.

Room Tip: We loved room 106.... I would have loved to see them all because it isn't a cookie cutter hotel.

The room was big and comfortable. The pool was really small and it is not heated and it does not catch any sun at all. Also if you are staying on a saturday night you should be prepared because it is next to a night club and it gets a little bit noisy. The huge disappointment was the restaurant. The service was lame, they did not get what we ordered and we were not the only ones that got a mixed order. They had 3 other tables that also got some mistake with their orders.

The hotel is very close to the city which would be a big plus, except that because of this it is right next to a night club... The walls start banging around ten, if you are easily startled stay away, if you can handle some noise, than I would recommend this hotel. The best part of our room was the chimney, which did add a great ambiance to the room. We also liked the lighting which created a wonderful mood. How ever the bed was very squeaky and the bathroom was too small. The staff was neither good nor bad. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Room Tip: AVOID NOISY ROOMS NEXT TO NIGHT CLUB! Rooms on the west are quieter. Ask service to help you with th...

We traveled this weekend to Guanajuato, Guadalajara and San Miguel de Allende. This was the best hotel out of the 3 we staid in. It's just perfect. The bed is big, the room is huge, the patios are memorable, the location is amazing and the service is excellent.

Nice surroundings, rooms. Would expect a whole lot more from the hotel. The room was nice, the pool wasn't great at all, very small and not heated. Kind of expensive for what you get.

Room Tip: Junior suite, definitely.

I took my wife for one night stay in Casa Linda. We love boutique hotels and this one did not disappoint. Although we did not have food at the hotel the accomadations are great!. The staff is very friendly. I am used to good service and the service here was extremely good. It is located very close to downtown San Miguel (2 blocks) which is nice because it is close enough to all the action but at the same time far enough to have some quiet time at night. I would definitely return!
