On a busy street in a very Mexican part of this tourist town is a little hole in the wall restaurant run by a beatific and gracious Japanese young woman who offers either deli take out, or a few tables in her tiny establishment. The food is authentic Japanese, not Asian fusion cuisine, and it is fresh and deliciious. It is delightful, also, to cross cultural paths with someone and chat in Spanish her, a language that is native tongue to neither of us. You will find it if you take Hernandez Macias until it ends at Calzada de La Luz. It is on the Calzada.
