“A cozy delicious eatery”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

While strolling the streets of San Miguel I came upon this inviting restaurant. The chandeliers alone drew me in.
Absolutely delicious Mexican food and very reasonably priced. If you are a pork eater than you must try the pozole, but there are also options for vegetarians. The place is clean and the service is great. Wanted to go back, but did not have time - will definitely return on my next trip to San Miguel.

“Charming neighborhood eatery”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

Just a few tables and a tiny menu, but perfect for a quick bite of DELICIOUS pozole (hominy, pork, green chiles) and flautas (crisp, tightly rolled tacos topped with sour creeam, cheese and shredded lettuce). Where else on earth could you sit under a Chairman Mao poster while simultaneously watching "Out of Africa" (on cable), listening to Dinah Washington (jazz background music) and being serenaded by a mariachi guy with a fiddle ("Rancho Grande")?

“Wonderful new place!”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

La Pozoleria is absolutely phenomenal! We had a great meal of guacamole, red pozole, and tostadas de rajas, and were very pleased with everything. The prices were very, very reasonable and the ambiance is artsy and eccentric, with pretty touches like chandeliers. As a vegetarian, I found several excellent options and was not disappointed with what I chose. This place is clean, the foods is fresh and delicious, and the people are very friendly. Give it a try!
