Description: This is a copy/paste on basic restaurant etiquette. Children at a Restaurant "If your children are dining with you, make sure they know how to behave in a restaurant. Not only does bad behaviour make your experience miserable, you are disrupting other people's meals. Teach your children how to be courteous and respectful of others before you take them to a restaurant. Consider the type of restaurant before bringing your children. Most family restaurants can accommodate toddlers. However, it's best to leave a small child with a sitter when you go to a bar or an upscale restaurant." Cheers, Alexander

Absolutely the best dinner in San Miguel. Everything was great. It's easy to see why this tiny restaurant has jumped to #1 in only four months. Everything we ordered was absolutely perfect. The owners are extremely personable and pleasant. No need to worry about translations as they speak perfect English. Don't miss this place.

“Tapas and More”

Enjoyed our first visit to this tony new place. Very pleasant owners - Swedish/Mexican.

A bit pricey but no complaints about food - giant shrimp, clams, salad and of course Mezcal. Would have liked more Info about Mezcals, or perhaps some flights.

I hold off five stars because I'd like to see how the restaurant develops in the next few months.

“Absolutely perfect!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2014

This was our first meal in San Miguel and the perfect way to start our adventures, culinary and otherwise, in SMA. The four of us ordered almost every dish on the small but thoughtful menu and eat plate was exquisite. We came late and they were out of one or two items, not surprising considering we were there during the very highest tourist season, semana santa. Each dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The balsamic reduction on the caprese was the best I have ever tasted. The tuna tartar with avocado, so fresh. Do not miss the clams or the giant grilled shrimp. Our waitress was superb and very friendly. They have a small but very well priced selection of Mexican wines and, of course, mescals. The guajillo chile margarita is a must-try! Met the owner after dinner and were not surpassed to hear that he is very passionate about his food and eager to here reports from diners. This is an elegant restaurant that deserves all the accolades it is enjoying. Highly recommended.

“Best dinner in San Miguel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2014 via mobile

My wife and I have been to San Miguel on three occasions and just had the best dinner that we have had to date. Don't let the size fool you,,,this is a great restaurant. The food was beautifully presented, great quality and worthy of a much higher priced restaurant. We had a beautifully prepared filet; wonderful grilled vegetables and perhaps the best caprese salad that we have experienced around the world. Monica, our server and co owner of the restaurant was wonderful, very attentive and fully invested in the quality of the food and service. We will return before we leave for home.
