“Very welcoming, cosy & well equipped”
Reviewed 11 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

I chose this cottage as a cosy retreat by the sea, for us to relax and celebrate our 28th Wedding Anniversary.
It didn't let us down the very cosy lounge and excellent bed & kitchen made our stay very welcoming. The local walks and beach was good but as the cottage was so cosy we just sat & read most of the time.

“Little Treasure by the sea!”
Reviewed 21 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Thank you Sue for being a wonderful host to Pete & myself, knowing you were there for us if we needed any help with anything was great, and your directions to get here were excellent.
The little cottage is a delight, credit to you. Very clean and tidy and with everything you need for your stay.
There is a railway line and road near by but didn't hear them much late @ night, slept well on the comfy bed.
Free Wi-Fi was a great little touch.
Great location near to the prom and beach, with two places to eat if you don't feel like cooking after long walks along the coast.
Received our deposit bang on time. Will definitely save this little treasure in my holiday file to return someday. Would recommend this little place to my friends.

“Lovely little cottage”
Reviewed 1 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Stayed here in February half term with my 9 year old girl. Was lovely, peaceful time away. Handy for the local attractions of North Wales and bracing walks along the beach. The cottage was cosy for us two with every thing we needed.

Hi, thank you so much for taking the time to review our little cottage. I was a little worried that, as you came over from Dubai, our weather was never going to be that great for you, especially in January! I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, and do hope to welcome you back again sometime. Sue

“Cosy two person cottage on the coast”
Reviewed 27 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

My partner and I rented this lovely little cottage 'Bron Dalar' for the half term week to celebrate my birthday. We had a lovely time exploring the coastline and Anglesey, also Liverpool for a day trip.

Lainfairfechan is a small seaside village and there's a lovely coastal walk you can go on as well as shops and takeaways so you have local conveniences and pretty surroundings if you want to spend some time there but it's also perfectly situated for exploring surrounding areas. The cottage is a minute's walk to the seafront with plenty of free parking nearby. It's a perfect size for two, very cozy with all creature comforts included including wifi which we found useful for looking things up and planning our day's activities. It has a view of the hosts back garden where their Tibetan terriers popped outside for a run round every so often. As it's self catering towels and bedding are provided but you will need to make sure you bring any other food, milk, bread etc with you or pop out to Tesco which is only a 10min car ride away. We had forgotten to buy cooking oil and Sue and Michelle very kindly gave us some to tide us over.

They are both very friendly hosts and said we could just knock or call if we needed anything but otherwise left us to it.

Thanks both for your hospitality, will definitely recommend to friends :)

“A lovely base from which to explore North Wales”
Reviewed 23 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We really enjoyed our stay in Bron Dalar cottage. The cottage itself had everything we needed and was just as described on Tripadvisor. We ended up staying an extra night on top of what we'd originally planned, as we felt we still had plenty more places to explore in North Wales and the cottage was such a perfect base from which to reach those places. We visited Caernarfon, Conwy, Llandudno, all of which were within 30 minutes drive from the cottage. We also visited Anglesey, where we went to a boot sale, and Llanberis, from which we climbed Snowdon; we managed to pack a lot into our four-night stay. Llanfairfechan itself is a lovely coastal village and we enjoyed swimming in the freezing cold sea(!!) and seeing the swans and ducks at the nature reserve area.

The cottage itself was a cosy place to relax after a day of exploring what North Wales has to offer. The cottage is to the side of the owner's house, but at no point did this feel intrusive or impact upon our privacy. On arrival we were welcomed warmly by Michelle, who was very helpful and friendly. We arrived a little while before the check-in time but the cottage was ready for us. At no point during our stay did we have any difficulty finding parking on the promenade (just seconds walk away from the cottage).

Inside the living room, the armchairs were like mini-sofas and were exceptionally comfortable. Definitely what we needed after climbing Snowdon! The cottage warmed up pretty quickly by the time we'd put the gas fire on in the living room. In the living room was a good sized television with freeview and a DVD player. There were also drawers of DVDs which came in handy.

The bed was comfortable and we slept very well throughout our stay. There was plenty of cupboard space and a hair-dryer in the bedroom. The kitchen was well kitted-out with everything we needed to make it a real home-from-home, and connected to the kitchen was the shower/toilet room - these facilities were also good.

Overall we had a lovely stay in Bron Dalar cottage and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you Sue and Michelle!

“Superb base for pottering around North Wales coast and Snowdonia”
Reviewed 15 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Exactly as described - a delightful cottage but owner's advice is accurate - it's for two only. Plenty of parking nearby and well situated for touring the coast, Snowdonia, Anglesey and Caernarvonshire.

Owners very welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

As an aside, Village Inn in the village has basic pub decor but worth a visit on steak night.
