I was made to feel so very welcome from the moment I stepped inside to the moment I left. Its a real traditional English pub in a sleepy traditional village. I was in Room 1 which is large having windows to front and rear. The floor was 'wonky' which added to the charm. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent (I just wished there had been a bath also, but that's just me!) Breakfast was just right, nothing was too much trouble. And the meal I had one evening was tasty and obviously home made, and very good value. Free WiFi was available also, which was a bonus.
I would definitely stay again if I ever found myself visiting the area again.
