“Lots to see & do...”

We took our Niece 6 and Nephew 4 to the farm in February, they loved it, we arrived at 11am on the Sunday and it was very busy, there was a large children's party there. (its worth checking before you go) we walked around the farm, the children held a rabbit in cuddle corner which they loved. Just as we were stoking the horses the farmer came of and asked them if they'd like a hay ride on the tractor, they loved it, as did my husband!
Having been on the tractor, been on a pony ride, cuddled a rabbit and climbed on all the frames, swings etc they were exhausted. It is a great day out for £23 for the 5 of us.
we ended with lunch in the farm cafe, which was superb, jacket potatoes, soups, sandwiches and homemade cakes.
They also have a lovely farm shop selling local produce, the onion chutney was delicious.
A word of warning, get there early and do check if theres any large parties booked in when you intend to visit. .

“We Keep Returning As Its Just So Good !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

Again I have to review this great place. We go regularly - sometimes just to use the tea rooms and sometimes to actually go around the farm. The staff are very friendly and I have to mention the very kind gentleman who usually serves in the farm shop. I don't think I have ever met such a happy, friendly person. He is an absolute credit to the Farm. The farm itself is great for adults and children alike. Not only are there lots of animals to feed and handle, there are 2 childrens play areas, a hay barn to play in, mini tractors, a wildlife walk, pony rides, tractor rides and to top it all a great farm shop and a fabulous tea room. We regularly eat there and it is so reasonable - 3 meals today with drinks - £14. Please go and support this local family farm - its great

“fantastic day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

Great day out at the farm. The staff could not have been more welcoming.
The animals were all well looked after and had no problems with the constant petting etc.
Great for all ages and at 34 still enjoyed sitting on the tractor.
The motor museum is interesting and the owner has some great toys.
Food was nice and farm shop well stocked

“Great even for grown-ups”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 April 2014 via mobile

We visited the farm recently and we thoroughly enjoyed it - the animals were very friendly and were tolerant when being stroked.

The fact you were able to feed the animals made it even more special! There are great hand washing facilities and the staff were friendly.

The farm shop is excellent - it has fresh produce at a good price, and the shop owner is very friendly and helpful.

Overall I'd recommend going - great for adults that love animals!

“Excellent for both the kids and dad”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014

If you are looking for a good place to visit near Loughborough, that is suitable for the kids and dad then Stonehurst is the place for you.

For the kids.

The farm is full of farming action for the children, it is safe and easy for you to keep watch on your the little people.

For dad

The museum is full of old cars and motor bikes, should satisfy dad for a couple of hours.

The. Cafe is first rate and the staff make the experience perfect.
