fell in love with the house and the area, everyone had so much fun even on the wet days we went down the beach. :-)

Stayed at this lovely well equipped holiday cottage for a week. Peaceful and relaxing with superb views across the bay. Walking distance to the scalpay bistro..excellent food. Great base for visiting Lewis and Harris and if you can ...book a trip to St Kilda. Recommend a visit to the Harris Distillery.. Walk to the lighthouse ...highly recommend this accommodation to get away from the hustle and bustle

“A great house, comfortable with a bay view; accessible for most of Harris and Lewis.”

This was a great holiday setting, close to Tarbert (ferry, fuel, shops, etc.) between the North and South Harris hills, making the whole of Harris and most of Lewis easily accessible. It also had its own small island flavour, with the convenience of being connected by land bridge. There was a local shop and cafe-bistro, within easy reach. The facilities of the house were generally good and clean; accommodation, kitchen facilities, TV and Wi-Fi, sea observation room, entrance room for wet cloths etc. The beds were of good quality. The house was warm, well insulated, had character and was inexpensive. I certainly would recommend this venue to my friends.
