“Awful place”

Stayed here late August 2017, Satellite TV worked about 25% of the time, wifi did not work for the majority of the trip. Basic things that are promoted that you never see. The cabins are run down, with 2 of them having electrical issues due to construction not being finished! Result was a visit from an electrician during our stay to tell us that we would have to do without certain items because it couldn’t be done in time. On top of this the owner choses disclose that her and her ex-husband recently split, so the vibe I got from her was for them to spend as little as possible to maintain the place so they could sell it. Just a horribly run business.

“Perfect Place for Families with Young Children”
Reviewed 13 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Creekside was a wonderful place to stay! There is an on-site play structure and the owners (who are also wonderful) set up a giant bouncy castle for the kids to play in. We also had nightly campfires steps away from our cottage. My children always had something to do, even when we were having a little cottage downtime and went to bed happily exhausted. Stanley Bridge is a quiet little rural community which is a super short drive to Cavendish and all of its activities, and a half hour's drive from Charlottetown. The cottage was clean and cozy. We wedged 5 adults, 1 teen and 2 little kids into a 3 bedroom and were comfortable in the space. Each cottage also has its own outdoor table and chairs, bbq, clothesline and - best of all - hammock. Fantastic vacation. We will be coming back next year!

“Fantastic - clean, cozy, cute, comfortable, convenient, great for kids”
Reviewed 24 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We stayed for one week in July 2016 with our 2 children, ages 8 and 6. They shared a queen bed upstairs in the loft, and we had a queen bed in the master bedroom on the main floor. The cottage is way cuter than the photos show. The owners are friendly, helpful, available on site, and clearly eager to make this a great holiday. They really care about the accommodation, and it's obvious. The cottage is comfortably furnished, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all of the dishes, pots/pans, cutlery you need, and there's a BBQ on the deck.

There's a clothesline behind the cottage which we used a lot for wet beach clothes and towels. Each cottage has Adirondack-style chairs and a lovely hammock. There's a fire pit for anyone to use; and a centrally-located basic playground that you can see from the cottages. It's very quiet and peaceful.

The cottages are located about 10 minutes from Cavendish and all the touristy things on offer there. There's a great restaurant a 2-minute walk away, and beside that is a building that holds ceilidhs 6 nights per week that is raved about in the local papers.

This is a great location for exploring the central part of the Island (Green Gables and Red Shores), and is also easily used to access "Points East". Singing Sands is 60-90 minutes away.

There aren't enough words to express how much we liked Creekside Cottages. It, and PEI in general, are fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
