My wife and I and her parents make a point of eating lunch here at least once on our one week annual visit to PEI. Carr's is casual and reasonably priced restaurant with good seafood. The haddock dinner is excellent, a large fresh portion with tasty sides. The Oysters are even better. On a warm summer day you have to sit on the deck to enjoy the scenic view of New London Bay and Stanley Bridge wharf. The service is also efficient and friendly. If your staying in the Cavendish area be sure to give it a try.

Group of friends made our annual visit to Carr's for a meal. There was entertainment outside on the patio, and the only table that was open for a group of 6 was right beside the speakers. The group was called "Full Circle" and they were excellent. We waited for the music to finish at 7pm and then we ordered our meal. The speciality of the house is seafood, and particularly oysters. I had the lobster with potato salad and it came with a bit of home made mayonnaise. The mayo was very good as was the potato salad and lobster roll. There was lots of lobster in the bun and 2 large scoops of potato salad. For dessert I shared the Brownie sundae. It was quite small and nothing really special. Their best dessert is the rum bread pudding which everyone else ordered and raved about. If you are looking for unique local talent, Carr's offers this as well as consistently good food. Rarely are you disappointed. Don't forget to check out the gift shop too, for unique gift ideas.

We had fresh oysters, steamed mussels, lobster, and sunflower seed bread. The food was great and fairly priced. The live music on Saturday was very enjoyable. The service suffered a bit because it was very busy for the live music, but that's understandable.

It was a beautiful day, so we sat on the deck overlooking Stanley River to eat lunch. The view alone is worth the visit.
We had donair egg rolls, fried clams, an oyster po' boy and a lobster roll. The entrees came with an option to select a side other than fries, (thank goodness, so sick of fries) so we went for potato salad. Excellent, fresh seafood.
Dessert was also good. They had a variety of pie, a rum bread pudding and a few other tasty choices.
They have a gift shop (most of the stuff is kitschy and not locally made) and a 'fishery-sea life museum' that we did not visit.
The food was pricey, but no more than any other spot along the North Shore tour route.
We would recommend the restaurant to others and will visit again.

Our table had fresh oysters, lobster, steamed shellfish, deep fried clams and deep fried oysters. The food is extremely fresh. I would recommend the Stanley Bridge Jumper to drink. Eat on the patio, the view is beautiful. We enjoyed the experience and I would recommend this restaurant.
