Thank you Patrick for writing of your recent stay with us. It does make us smile to know our guests enjoyed all aspects of our hospitality.

We do appreciate the occasional Saturday night can be noisy in the bar. It normally coincides with the local shinty team being victorious, they like to sing and enjoy their success. They are however very nice lads and well behaved, bar the occasional song.

Hope to see you again,
Archie.

What a lucky find! We stayed for two nights in a lovely room overlooking Loch Fyne. Our room was well decorated and very clean. All members of staff were welcoming and very professional. The upstairs sitting room has stunning views of the loch and it is a really relaxing space. The food was really fantastic and the chef is obviously very talented. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: Room 18 overlooks the loch and it is very quiet.

Creggans Inn is a beautiful small hotel with stunning views of Loch Fyne. Right on the loch side, Creggans is smart, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. From start to finish, the staff was excellent--professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful in every respect. Everything about the hotel seems to run like clockwork -- yet there was a relaxed, family atmosphere. We ate in the bistro both nights and the food was excellent. Really good quality and very tasty. All the public rooms were beautiful. On arrival, we had tea and fruit cake in the upstairs lounge with sink-in sofas and a huge picture window overlooking the loch. Breakfast was in a spacious dining room, again with incredible views over the pretty garden and onto the loch. I couldn't rate this hotel highly enough. Stunning.

My husband and I stayed at Greggans Inn for four brilliant days. The atmosphere and the friendly welcome we recieved was the beginning of our stay. The staff, service, food and room were excellent. We enjoyed stunning views and enjoyed the various activities in the area that kept us busy and happy. If you want a wonderful holiday do try this amazing Inn in it's amazing location. We would certainly return.....

Our children booked us an overnight stay and meal for our anniversary - lovely surprise and we were not disappointed! We stayed in Rm 10 - a superior double - which has fabulous views over Loch Fyne. A well appointed, spotlessly clean room. We enjoyed a meal in the Bistro which included the Chicken Liver Parfait and Goats Cheese Starters followed by Roast Chump of Lamb and Roast Breast of Chicken. Food was superb and service was excellent! We will definitely be back again in the near future!

Room Tip: You have to have a loch view

Just wanted to share my thoughts about this fantastic hotel, I was cycling back to Lochgoilhead and seeing as it was a lovely hot day decided to stop and have a spot of lunch, and the Creggans hotel was the hotel of choice, having past it several times in recent weeks, and wow,

I was not let down, the service was fantastic, from the moment I walked in the door I got a lovely welcoming smile from the receptionist (who was on the phone at the time, but still took the time to acknowledge me) and then there was the girls behind the bar, who were nice and chatty, they took my order swiftly, seeing as it was sunny outside I had chosen to eat outside, and when i got outside the staff had already put my cutlery on the table, (didnt have to worry about the meal turning up before the cutlery) My meal came out quickly and was just lovely, I had the Aberdeen angus burger, the chips had been cut from fresh potatoes, (no bought in frozen chips), This just speaks volumes into how much the hotel owners and staff care for the quality of there food they sell a huge plus in my mind, after I had finished my food I asked the waitress if I could fill up my water bottle, with some fresh water, this was not a problem, She even went the extra mile by adding some ice and also gave me some ice,

As someone who works in the trade and strives for excellant customer service I left feeling very happy and will be back many more times in the future, a gem of a place that more than compliments the stunning sceanery of Argyll & Bute

So well done to the staff for a great wee visit

An impromptu visit to such a glorious location for Father's Day fell just a bit short at lunch at Creggans Inn. The menu looked delightful but other than the Loch Fyne scallops that spoke for themselves the rest of our lunch was rather a disaster by appearance and taste. The sea bass from the specials menu were 3 poorly done scraps of tails on a very overdone risotto. The salmon was very dry and under seasoned. The portions were adequate but very large for a 10 year old. My son who ordered the haddock couldn't finish even half of his plate. We were not offered a children's menu!!
The service left a lot to be desired and we didn't feel welcome in the least.
Its such a shame when Creggans Inn is in this absolutely beautiful location.
