There was 9 in our group and the house stilled seemed spacious, large dinning/living room with an additional living area at the upstairs balcony, bedrooms and kitchen were also a good size. Large well kept garden with gas bbq which we used, and to finish it off great views over Loch Fyne. We were lucky with the weather and were able to walk to the local restaurant and pub.
Fabulous location, perfect for us and our dog. Lots of walks along the shoreline. Plenty of space in the house for 6 of us (three generations). Slight issue with the washing machine which was sorted out straightaway with no fuss. Thoroughly recommend
What can i say ? , even all the positive reviews dont do this beautiful place any justice . From the minute we booked till the minute we left the cottage everything was perfect . Cottage finished to a high standard , gardens well kept , location and views outstanding , Staying in central Scotland i think at times we dont aporeciate what we have on our door step till we see it . We ate too much , drank too much and laugh our heads of the full weekend , which one of the couple's in our company needed after the loss of a close family member during the week . I cant speak highly enough of this place and its hosts , prompt replys to emails and communication was excellent . Thanks .
We knew the weather might be a risk when we booked Ardfyne in February, but didn’t quite expect to live through the biggest snowfall in Scottish history for twenty years! The house functioned brilliantly through the sub zero temperatures, well insulated with efficient central heating. Spacious kitchen and living areas, lovely bedrooms, great location, lots to do and see. A perfect holiday. Thank you Ella and David.
This is an absolutely wonderful hidden gem of a place. We stayed last year for our anniversary and visited again for a family get together for September weekend.
The property accommodates 10 more than comfortably. The dining area is fabulous we spent hours just sitting chatting and taking in the wonderful views. The house is set in the most beautiful surroundings, the gardens are stunning and the views even more so. This house caters for everyone whether you are looking to have some peaceful tranquillity and wish to stay indoors or perhaps if you are someone who wants to explore it is equally as wonderful. The pontoon is 5 mins away and you can get a permit from the local shop for fishing which was a great bonus for my husband. A short drive away is Inveraray where there is some lovely little shops and lovely for stroll around. Loch Fyne oyster bar is a must if you like seafood we had fresh mussels, oysters, smoked fish etc. The Creggans Inn is lovely for dinner. Even the locals/neighbours are so welcoming here. The owners really have created a wonderful environment here.
