Description: La Galeria was stablished on October 13th, 1997, in the heart of Cabo San Lucas along the Marina, made it to become one of the favorite restaurants for lunch and dinner for both recurring travelers, and curious walk-ins. Eventually we gained our reputation little by little, from word of mouth and became an important location for the Cabo San Lucas gastronomy industry. Our cuisine combines the flavors of Baja with a Mexican/Mediterranean concept, using always fresh ingredients, carefully picked from the best sources, farms and towns, because a memorable plate is achieved, not only by a wonderful chef, but by the freshness and selection of each single ingredient involved. Some years Later, when Plaza del Pescador was built in San José, we opened our new branch, with great proven experience behind and a different nice street view, yet with a great taste and environment to enjoy. So, if you ever stopped by La Galeria at the Cabo Marina, give our San José del Cabo location a try!

Located on the marina it is a good spot to eat. You can even barter for the price of dinner. We brought our fresh catch (Sierra) and had the chef prepare it fo us. He chose blackened and grilled with several different sauces....cilantro, mango, garlic, capers. $5 dollars for the veggies and rice for each person. Our group decided the caper and mango sauces were the best. Both the blackened and grilled were very good. The blackened could be eaten without a sauce it waas so good! The wait staff was super friendly and fast.

We asked for the tuna sashimi as appetizer, which ended up to be some sort of fish sashimi as the whole bay was out of tuna (I'm not very fond of fish, so I can´t remember the name of it). It was DE-LI-CIOUS! Ordered sealed fish cajun style: very nice. And also had pasta, very good. Service was great. Thanks for making our night special!

The food and service were great. Do not be put off by the pushy guy on the street trying to lure people in.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here, but our son was dissapointed with his fish tacos. They were very spicy.

We were completely mislead when we decided to eat here. Rocco negotiated out front like a car salesman and got us in with ($6 drinks) and 2 for 1. Well the drinks were not 2 for 1 or $6 as promised. We ordered a round of piña coladas for 4 then a round of Miami vice. Bottled water was pricey. During our dinner our waiter fooled us by saying how about a round of tequila. At this time we thought great, we are having a good time so why not. Little did we know we were charged $20 per shot. The dinner was okay but not worth what we paid. Steak was average and fatty. Lobster was small and very over cooked.

Surprise surprise, the bill came and was over $250. We called Rocco over to discuss as the drinks were not 2-1 as promised nor were they $6. He walked away from us, waiter was rude and would not discuss. For the first time ever we left no tip as we felt very ripped off and mislead. The waiter had the nerve to heckle us on the way out that we should have tipped him and his cooking staff. Wow I couldn't believe it. Needless to say when we walked by on other nights Rocco shied away like a turtle.

Stay away from this place and go to Alexander for a meal and service you will love!
