Owner description: Wild Canyon is a world-class adventure park located in the third fork of El Tule Canyon. El Tule Canyon is an amazing place. The moment you get there, you’ll immediately feel captured by its magic. Situated in the middle of the Baja desert, the canyon features an oasis on its bottom, keeping the vegetation lush and green. And, of course, from here you’ll never lose sight of the breathtaking sparkling Sea of Cortez. In the heart of the park, you’ll find a tempered glass gondola hanging 300 feet above the canyon floor. It’s reached via a cable car in order to perform different activities that send you flying through the air. Other adventures include off-road tours with visits to the beach, zip lines of up to 2,500 feet long and a restaurant serving up great food in the heart of this amazing natural biosphere. Without a doubt, Wild Canyon is a one-of-its-kind place that you will not want to miss while in Los Cabos.

“Loved the ride through the desert and beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2014

Loved It! I had never rode an ATV before but they explained very well! I'm very cautious but loved the adrenaline of the ride! It was really easy to do! Loved the landscape! The ONLY complain is that they picked us up at the hotel 1:15 before the tour was supposed to start, AND then when we arrived at WYLD Canyon we had to wait for one hour AND a half to start....because they said we were waiting for a couple of people....but ONE hour and a half is just too much (and i'm from Latin America....so I understand about the "mexican time"; but that much time it was just TOO much and for courtesy to the people waiting for the tour to start, they should have started earlier.

Thank you for your comment; we are glad that you enjoyed your ATV adventure with us! Sorry to hear that you had to wait over an hour for the tour to start, this information will be relayed to our team to see how we can prevent this from happening again. We would love to see you back again at our park not only to see new changes in our client transportation but for you to experience another wild adventure with us. As you enjoyed our ATV adventure, we are sure you would love our zipline tour. We have 300% more length in our lines than any other place in Los Cabos as well as the safest equipment. One can get a great bird’s eye view while zipping through our land while hanging over 300 feet above ground!

Thank you for your feedback and we do hope to see you back at our park again!

“Wild Canyon Zip Lines”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

Did this activity about 3PM and it was hot, you get water and you have refilling stations with more cold water along your route. YOU NEED TO BE IN EXCELLENT HEALTH to do this as there is plenty of hiking involved and it is uphill always! I am 54 and my girl is 42 we went with our 20 y/o girls and their friends and one of them was having a tough time. So consider yourself warned. We had a blast doing it though and the only thing I didn't like was having to wait almost an hour to be taken back to the resort area. Otherwise woooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooo!

I love to hear you had a great time! Indeed, the required physical requirements recommended in our website and all printed advertizing is to be fit to walk 45 minutes on varied terrain and it is not recommended for pregnant women and people with back, neck and heart problems since we are in the middle of the desert. Let me tell you that building our zipline circuit was an achievement, we used the geographical accidents of the land to build them trying to not harm the ecosystem, this allowed us to have the amazing views you could gaze being up there! I hope to see you back soon! I will invite you to check our website and facebook to be updated with the most recent information about the park, we will be having great content this fall!

Dad and husband went on the zip line and myself and my son took the camel tour. We all had fun and enjoyed our morning.

Thank for you taking the time to comment! Our staff is very well-trained and thoroughly love their time with our guests on the tours. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your zip line adventure and camel tour with us so much!
After each tour we are offering that our guests check out our newest park additions: the longest bridge and our animal kingdom. We hope you were able to check one (if not both) of these out, they are both great fun adventures for the whole family to enjoy together! In our animal kingdom in particular, our staff show a great love and extent of knowledge for our animals that are now part of our park. It is a great opportunity to meet extraordinary animals and spend some relaxing time walking around after your tour. We appreciate your comments and hope to see you back at the park soon!

“Poorly Explained Excursion - Would NOT Recommend”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014 via mobile

Terrible zip lining experience here. First of all, in order to complete the 8-course zip lining obstacle, you pretty much have to HIKE UP A MOUNTAIN, which the instructors conveniently forget to mention during the crash instruction lesson. They give you one bottle of water which quickly boils to 80 degrees after the first five minutes. So not only are you in pain from hiking from point to point, but you have no cold water to drink!!!!!! Not a single mention of this. During our experience, a 40 year old woman literally passed out ON THE ZIPLINE due to exhaustion and dehydration. She as well as the rest of us had no idea the zip lining excursion would be so physically demanding or strenuous. This should be explained upfront ESPECIALLY in case someone has a medical issue of some kind. HORRIBLE company who puts money before safety and proper instructions.

Thank you for your comment! During our zip line tour it can get quite hot up here at the canyon, but we do our best to keep our guests cool, comfortable and hydrated with resting areas that offer free cold water refill stations available all throughout the tour. It is very important that our guests do consider the physical (yet exhilarating) activity our zip line tour is! We do mention on our website and all printed advertising our “Physical Requirements” for this tour:
• “Fit enough to walk about 45 minutes in intervals 5-15 minutes on varied terrain.
• Min age: 8 years old.
• Maximum weight: 300 lbs / 136 kg.
• For their own safety, pregnant women and people with heart, back, or neck problems, as well as those with vertigo or osteoporosis won’t be allowed to participate in this activity.”

At the end of each tour our guests have time to visit our Lion´s Den Restaurant or our new Animal Kingdom! At our Lion’s Den, our guests can relax in the shade, enjoy some refreshing beverages, munch on some tasty food and view their photos that were taken during their tours by our professional photographers. Our Animal Kingdom is an excellent place to see exotic rescued animals and as you said, get a professional tour from our experts who love to take care of them! We hope to see you back at the park again!

“AWESOME!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014

First of all you need to know that a 5 is not what we would have given this activity...it would be a 10 instead.

We chose the Tortuga Zip Line as our first adventure of the day. This was the best adventure I have ever been on. The tour guides were friendly, personable and fun to be around. They made the entire day's adventure totally worth the money and time. We would do it again in a heart beat.

We also did the OFF Road ATV Adventure. They took us down the Canyon and down to El Tule Beach which was beautiful. The ride was fast & fun. We had all adults in teens in our group so we got to go faster. Again the tour guide for this adventure was great. If you have ever considered doing activities like this, this would be the group to do it with.

The restaurante on site had amazing chicken quesadillas and chicken nachos. They took really good care of us and we now have a wonderful memory.

*You need to be prepared to hike between the zip line stations. They do provide water bottles and refill stations for you for these two activities.

Give it a try and you won't be sorry!

What an excellent review! Thank you so much for writing about your experience at Wild Canyon. We have an excellent staff that is trained very well and passionate about what they do. It makes us happy to know that you felt safe and well prepared on our zip lining tour. Our restaurant has some great chefs, we are glad you liked the food so much, they will be happy to hear it! At the end of each tour, everyone is welcomed over to our restaurant in which you can relax, eat, and see pictures from the day’s adventures. We hope to see you back soon and next time maybe try out our Giant Swing or Bungee Jump!
We would love to see you back at the park soon!
