Our recent trip to Cabo was made exceptional by the incredible staff and accommodations at the Montecristo Estates. From check-in to check-out, everyone made us feel welcomed and special. Our personal concierge Raúl Galeana V. was very attentive to our needs. Especially when my son needed some medical attention, Raul personally accompanied us at the on-site clinic. That gestured proved he was concerned for our well being. Villa 75 had the most remarkable view and we hated to leave! We felt very secure, comfortable in the luxurious accommodations and spoiled! We will definitely return every year.

Montecristo Estates Pueblo Bonito is an unbelieveable time share resort. We had our own villa and it was gorgeous. It exceeded our expectations. The furnishings were just beautiful, with all modern appliances and a barbeque as well.
We had our own pool and hot tub!
The staff was amazing and attentive!
The views were magnificent.
All the restaurants were wonderful. The clubhouse at Montecristo was fully staffed. Beautiful vistas and terrific food.
We would recommend this place for a wonderful family and friends get together.

Room Tip: All the rooms are gorgeous and all face the Pacific Ocean

This was the second time we were able to stay in Phase 1 Villa 77. Pure joy to spend quality time with friends and family. People could walk 10 steps out to the private pool, which is on the quiet side of the hill and secluded from the view of neighbors. Dinners are usually family style, a luxury in these busy times. Our Concierge Raul Galeana was very attentive, and even helped us purchase fresh fish right off the dock - truly a fabulous feast! He was also a great resource for a local restaurants, which we enjoyed very much. Manuel was our favorite of the Montecristo van drivers - we'd always try to ask for him by name, with an extra tip for his attentiveness.

Room Tip: The high numbers in Phase 1 are closer to the Clubhouse building and on the quieter side of the hill...

This is by far the most luxurious place I've ever stayed. The service and friendliness of the entire staff was out of this world. Everywhere we went on the property, we were treated like celebrities. The weather was perfect, the scenery unbelievable, and the villas were huge and gorgeous. It was a vacation that we will never forgot. Looking back at the pictures will always take me to my "happy place." There is no doubt that we will return as often as possible.

Room Tip: They are all perfect!

My wife and two year old and I had a wonderful time as usual in our villa at Montecristo Estates. Our concierge, Raul Galeana, was extremely attentive and we had a pack-n-play, high chair and pool fence provided immediately upon our arrival for our two year old in addition to his assistance at getting golf and restaurant reservations. The house was always well cleaned by housekeeping and they made a couple of wonderful displays (plus a cake) for us for our wedding anniversary as well as for our daughter's second birthday.

Our only mild irritation was with the timing of shuttles and buggies to the Pueblo Bonito Sunset lobby and the main pool where our daughter enjoyed the childrens play area and "the bubbles". However, that was not due to any inattention or lack of effort by the shuttle and buggie drivers who were all extremely friendly and helpful. We think it was either too few vehicles or an innefficient system.

In any case our overall stay was as it has always been very relaxing and fun.

Well they say "3rd time is the charm" and I can definitely say that about our 3rd stay at Monte Cristo Estates. What can I say again but WOW! Monte Cristo is the ultimate in privacy, suberb service, unbelievable views and luxury. The weather was perfect every day and the super friendly, and helpful staff make sunny days even sunnier! Our personal concierge, Raul, took care of our every need without missing a beat... he even anticipated things before we ever thought of them! He was very pleasant, thorough, professional, and offered service far beyond our expectations. Muchas Gracias, Raul :) We will definitely be back to see you again.

We did decide to rent a car this time, and, although it is ridiculously expensive to rent a car in Mexico, it was great to be able to take some side trips (we took a day trip to La Paz), and drive to some of the great restaurants instead of taking taxis every night.

The views at Monte Cristo can't be beat. Even when you are working out in the fitness center you are looking out over the infinity pool to the ocean below. Carlos keeps the fitness center extremely clean and running in tip-top shape. The spa is beautiful, and the treatments divine. I loved the BootCamp class down at PB Pacifica...so much fun working out on the beach!
The villas are amazing - HUGE, and lovely travertine throughout, with your own personal infinity pool on the lower deck and hot tub on the upper deck. Great layout for families, even multiple families if need be. We stayed in #64, which was a perfect location to walk to the fitness center/spa/restaurant/lobby.

All of the restaurants Raul recommended were excellent, especially Edith's, La Frida, and Flora Farms (which is a self-sustaining, organic farm-to table restaurant, in San Jose Del Cabo). Also, don't miss an incredible meal and beautiful setting at El Farallon, and also Sunset De Mona Lisa. And for authentic mexican food, Maria Jimenez restaurant was delightful. But even the Sports Bar at Monte Cristo itself had great food if you don't feel like making the trek into town.

I could go on and on about or week at Monte Cristo. It was perfect in every way and we can't wait to go back... for the 4th time! You will absolutely LOVE it!

Room Tip: Villas in the 60's and 70's in Phase 1 are closest to the spa/fitness center/lobby.

We spent 23 days in MonteCristo, one partly cloudy day and one windy day. Otherwise 80's and blue sky. Accommodations are amazing, 3 bedrooms, each with it's own bath, and 2 additional bathrooms, including one outdoor by the infiniti pool. The views are spectacular and we saw whales breaching several days (binoculars are great to have). The staff is very special, all willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay even better. We can't say enough about: Paulina, our concierge; Laura, our maid; Israel, our gardener. Maintenance problems are typically resolved in less than 30 minutes. The MonteCristo spa is also worth a visit. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. While MonteCristo is peaceful, you can easily get to the resort pools or Medano Beach via vans or bus. We are MonteCristo owners and this was our 3rd time at the villa; it never disappoints. If you are a first time traveler to Cabo, there are lots of activities: golf, tennis, ATV's, jet skis, great fishing, para sailing, you name it, it's there for you. There are many hotel/villa options in CABO, none as wonderful as MonteCristo!

Room Tip: Views are more spectacular in Phase I, but the Phase !! units have been updated and are more accessi...
