“Another nice visit”

$19.95 lobster special is good, shrimp is excellent, beautiful views, can eat outside or with roof overhead- (still outdoors though) Service was a bit slower than in the past, good place to eat if you are in the neighbourhood

“great dinner”
Reviewed 1 April 2013

We were looking for a place to take the family for good seafood that didn't cost a fortune. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the room beautiful. The service was excellent and waiters put on a wonderful show making mexican coffee and even made a special hot chocolate for my son that wasn't on the menu. We enjoyed our meal very much. The only small problem was that first we were seated toward the back where there is actually a playground ( I know, sounds strange) and there was a clueless family with loud children. The staff was great about moving us away from them, but if you don't want to hear kids playing, you might want to scope it out first or just sit further in away from the kid zone. Also, the restaurant looks, well, not real impressive from the outside, but don't be fooled by that. It's a nice place.

“Worst meal of our trip”
Reviewed 25 March 2013

$70 lobster was inedible, and served with tasteless rice and beans. Rib eye steak seemed like some animal other than beef, and was also thin & tasteless, & served with instant potatoes. The salsa was watery thin & tasted like tomato soup.

“Best deal in restaurants.”
Reviewed 13 March 2013

Villa Serena has been consistantly delicious for the 20 years we have been going to Cabo. The prices are more than reasonable and the service, although Mexican (the Mexican minute), is very good. Best deal in Cabo for lobster tail.

“Relaxing and Enjoyable”
Reviewed 12 March 2013

A little ways out of town...but great. We spent 3 hours there and weren't rushed, hassled or dissapointed. Food and wine were great. Live easy listening music. Great views and friendly staff.
It was a little spendy, but we had salads, large lobster, steak, fish etc. Just the fact we made an evening out of it, was worth it.
