“Great restaurant all around”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

This was a great experience. Food was exceptionally good. The staff were very friendly and helpful (Rodolfo and Abad). There was even a band that played music as we dined that were quiet impressive. The Cheese Fondue would be our recommendation for a great appetizer! The all around atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable. We would return if we were to come back to Cabo.

“Great food /Great Service/Worth a visit”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

We had a wonderful evening at Maria Corona, it was a lovely setting , the staff were attentive( Ulysses and Rafael )and helped us with or menu and wine choices, the food was superb, the band was a welcome change from the sometimes obnoxious Mariachi singers on the marina.Expect to pay around USD$50/- per head inclusive of tips, it was money well spent.

“Authentic Mexican Cuisine and Experience”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

Enjoyed our meal and experiencing what downtown Cabo has to offer. This isn't the best tasting food we had while in Cabo, but it is still very delicious! There is ample parking next to restaurant if you plan on driving yourself.

“A Well Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

We took our taxi driver up on his recommendation to eat here when the restaurant of our choice was closed. Walking down the street, you'll find this beautiful restaurant and courtyard that looks somewhat out of place in a less than scenic neighborhood. Huge flowering Royal Poinciana trees, lots of tables and chairs and a stage for the mariachi band. The menu is wide ranging so good luck making your selection. Margaritas are a regular size and not oversized like you get in many Mexican restaurants. Dinner starts with a delicious bean soup. As an appetizer, we ordered panela cheese on the grill which came smothered in a well seasoned tomatillo sauce that we dipped into homemade corn tortillas. My husband ordered the Mayan style pork pibil and loved every bite. I ordered the catch of the day prepared tickin-xich style in a banana leaf. Fish was fresh, not overly flavorful. My son ordered street tacos and was surprised they were served as piles of meat on tortillas with no toppings offered. Service was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and you felt cared for - thank you Ulises and Abad. Prices are fair. This is a great place to dine with family or friends. An impressive find in Cabo.
