First and foremost, Armando the waiter at the beach is great! Food and drinks always came fast and friendly! As a matter of fact all the wait staff was great!
Location is also very good. We walked the beach or the roads to town every day and evening
without issue. Beach access is great as well. We loved our stay here!
The only issue I have is the people at the timeshare presentation. After declining the offer we were treated rudely, shown the exit and left to find our own way back to the Rose.

We had a great 12 day visit in Cabo and stayed at the Rose and had the all inclusive plan. We were able to eat at the restaurants and the Rose as well as the Blanco which is the neighboring resort next door. The most hardworking server is Eduardo who works the pool/beach section. He never stops! He remembers your order and is always on top of things! Our hats off to him with having to walk through the sand and up to the bar to place your order. The main restaurant which is called Mare Nostrum has a great breakfast buffet. Senora Christina makes the best omelets and will special order just about anything you would want to put inside it. Alonso and Daniel are wonderful servers and make great suggestions. Our favorite server is Wilbur at Las Palomas at Blanco. He is personable always made great menu suggestions for us and is extremely professional. The food at all restaurants were fantastic. We ate at Fellini's which is additional $10 per person and is well worth the cost. Victor, the head chef, stopped by our table and actually suggested a great fish entrée for us which was off the menu. It was a perfect dinner! Additionally, the Head Chef for the resorts is very visible and checks with the guests and his staff to ensure your meal is first class. The only negative was that we ate too much!
We stayed on the 6th floor and had a straight shot of the water view. The room was nice with a small kitchenette which we did not use. Our maid was thorough and we always had a clean room when we got back into our room.
The front desk and consereige was fine but could improve in terms of letting you know about the resort itself. We stumbled upon all activities and evening events on our own.
The location is perfect in terms of beach activities, walk into town and the marina. The locals are pleasant and not too pushy in terms of purchasing items. If you say "no" they will leave you alone.

We were a little sceptical about our two week visit to the PB Rose after reading some of the reviews on TA; however, they were wrong, wrong, wrong. We loved the Rose and the large staff they have working there. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. Check-in was a snap, no pushy timeshare offers, and we got the room location we wanted. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the room was lovely and the view from our balcony was fantastic. Yes the resort is not brand new and yes there are some chipped tiles, etc., but so what. Everyday we saw workers, sweeping, watering, painting, gardening, etc - they keep the place immaculately clean. Our room was cleaned beautifully daily and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The location is right on the beach and we were able to walk to "The Office" in less than ten minutes. We chose not to participate in the All-Inclusive program, but we had lunch around the pool most days and enjoyed a few dinners at Cilantros (next door at the PB Blanco). We also enjoyed the "Michael Jackson" show they had on a Thursday nite. Their Sunday Brunch is fantastic IF you like champagne, sushi, and we do! Typically we would take a taxi to the downtown area (70 pesos) for dinner - many people just walked (15 minutes) but my wife had a leg problem that we were pampering.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 6th floor near the beach and loved it.

A beautiful place to spend quiet time and relax, the servers Israel, Martin made the beach and pool side experience wonderful. Food was totally amazing and Sunday brunch was the best tamales. In the Spa Julieta, Mayra and Rosaliea made you feel all new and relaxed with the skin of a new baby. Entertainment was way over done half hour and it was time to leave that noise. Poolside activities were fun for those that participated but we enjoyed watching them more than jumping in.
This is our 10th time at Rose and will go back next year.

Room Tip: top floor 6015-6019 or bottom floor 1005-1010 are favorites.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Rose for our honeymoon. We received nothing but great service from the time we checked in to the day we checked out. The staff members were always friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied with our room...it was clean and taken care of daily by our maid "Perla". The resort was conveniently located to town for shopping and dining. We received excellent service at the pool bar from our server/friend "Armando"! We will definitely go back Rose again!

The Rose Resort is about 20 years old and fronts Medano Beach on the Sea of Cortez. The resort has a prime location on a nice, white sandy beach. It provides access to many water related activities from swimming to kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing and lots more. The beach is a great place to take a long stroll or run in either direction and get some exercise. A minor drawback would be dozens of peddlers roaming the shoreline trying to sell their wares. They do take no for an answer. You just have to repeat it every 5 minutes.

Sad to say most of the rooms at the Rose do not have views of the ocean or Sea of Cortez. We didn’t have a view, but maybe from the 5th or 6th floor a view is possible. The rooms are nice, cleaned daily by staff and the beds are comfortable. No king size beds are available, but maintenance workers will connect two queen size beds if requested. All the staff was very helpful during our 10 day stay.

The Rose is close to downtown Cabo San Lucas and the walk to downtown takes about 15 minutes. Not bad. We made the trek during the day, but decided against it after dark and took a cab for $6 from the marina. I recommend taking the CaboRey dinner cruise out of the marina. It took about three hours and includes a meal, drinks, entertainment and sightseeing. We enjoyed it.

The all-inclusive worked well for us. We used a coupon that gave us 7 days of meals and drinks at 5 restaurants for $465 per person. That comes to about $67 per person per day. With the all inclusive you don’t have to worry planning meals, but do tend to over indulge a bit. The resort restaurants are somewhat overpriced when paying off the regular menu. Many of the meals ranged for $20 to $35, not including drinks.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the great view from Medano Beach of Land’s End, lover’s beach and the rock formations. You can’t see the arch, but it is still a wonderful view from the lounge chairs on the beach. It’s very pleasing to sit on a recliner on the beach, sip a tropical beverage, chat with a friend and look out at the majestic rock formations set against the blue waters.

All in all we would stay at the Pueblo Bonito Rose Resort again, especially for the discounted rate we paid.
