“The staff here is wonderful”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

We had a wonderful 6 nights at the "Blanco". It is smaller and quieter than the Rose and most rooms have a lovely view of the rocks and water. Perfect walking distance to town and about 15 minutes walk from the marina.
Yes, the rooms are older, and our bedroom was small, but the premises are well kept up and very clean. There weren't any "junior suites" available so we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom kitchenette with micro and frig and a sitting area, as well as a large outside porch. (first floor) I think there are only 2 king beds in the whole resort, but we requested that our doubles be put together and that worked fine. The pool is smaller than the Rose, but I like that you can easily walk between the two, picking and choosing which restaurant, bar, activity or pool you feel like using. We got the all inclusive package and I have mixed feelings what to recommend- Be aware, the a la carte prices are quite inflated, so unless you don't drink much and you want to leave the hotel for most meals, it may be worth it to investigate prices for AI.
The staff here is incredibly nice, helpful and patient (as we saw with some ugly guests). One night the "theme" night was changed- they cancelled "kebab" night- and some people got furious! Give me a break, its your vacation- relax! There are many repeat time share owners at this resort- they come back year after year with the staff recognizing them.
My only complaint was some of the drinks- I didn't care for the margaritas or the house wine (the only kind you can get on all inclusive). Otherwise we were quite happy with the quality of the food at all the restaurants and the buffet.
The lovely tradition of putting your towel out at 4am to "mark" your chair continues here as most resorts. I refuse to do it, so we just got what chair we could.
We got a shuttle from the airport to the Blanco from the company Cielito Lindo- they were great both ways.
WiFi is available for free in a small lobby at the hotel. You can pay, if you want it in your room.

Pueblo Bonito is not the most upscale place you can stay in Cabo San Lucas, but it is still one f the best. We just finished our annual three-week stay there. The rooms are comfortable. The pool area is mellow and beautiful. And if you order a sandwich around the pool, know that the french fries that come with it are among the best you'll get anywhere. The view of the beach and land's end is stunning, and most importantly the staff is wonderful. Every year, when we arrive, we are greeted by many of them who remember us year after year, telling us "welcome home." I love that. There are certain staff members who deserve special praise, Among them is Luis Ojeda, who works at the front desk and always does his best to accommodate our needs. Another person is Giovani, who works at the concierge desk and does a terrific job. Finally, I want to express my thanks to Antonio, a bellman who goes out of his way to help us when we arrive and depart. If you want a relaxing vacation in the place that has the best weather in the world during winter, you can't do better than Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos.

Room Tip: No bad rooms at PB Los Cabos.

This was my first visit to cabo. I really liked the charm and size of the hotel. Very clean and well maintained. We did the all inclusive, and it worked for us. Our plan was relaxation, so it was nice to be able to stay at the hotel to eat and drink. The food was average but expensive (competitive with other local venues). Cilantro's for dinner was very good, however grill night at Casa Mexicana was terrible. Dinner reservations are recommended!
Martin (mongayo) on the beach/pool was fantastic! Very friendly and genuine. Also, Monica and Luis at the front desk were always friendly and cheerful.
Almost all the waitstaff we encountered were great, especially if you tip. They work long hard hours, show them you appreciate them! Tipping throughout the day really paid off to have friendly attentive service.

Stayed for 8 days at the Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos and enjoyed our stay. The resort has been in operation for a 20+ years but is still well looked after and the staff are always curteous and very helpfull. Felix R., Monica, Andrea and Henoc have become friends and are exceptional representatives of the Pueblo Bonito resorts.

We have been going to Pueblo Bonito Blanco for years. The resort has a wonderful personality. The staff is by far the best!! The bell boys Antionio, Franke, Ozcar are very helpful. The front desk staff is very accommodating and work so hard to have everything perfect. There are other resorts much larger but they simply do not have the friendly wonderful atmosphere. We will continue returning for years to come.

Stayed for 5 days at the Pueblo Bonito in Los Cabos. We were expecting a motel environment, but the Pueblo Bonito is full of "Time Shares". The property was probably built in the 70's and it really doesn't have a motel feel. The Puebo Bonito basically has a small lobby and all of the resturants (2) and bars (only 1 bar) are located outside by the pool... No night life! The room was nice but very dated. We spent most of our time on a nice lounge area on the beach... CAUTION..... I was ready to go home at the end of the 5 days... The vendors walked up and down the beach and wanted to sell you something every 10 to 15 seconds. They were not aggressive, but they would keep asking you to buy something from them until you sad "no thankyou". This happens ALL DAY LONG.... At one time we counted 26 vendors within 30 yards of our beach chairs..... IT WORE US OUT! We were really pleased with the food and service at Puebo Bonitio. NOTE: The Pueblo Bonito has less than 20 rooms that have a ocean veiw. 98% of the rooms are pool views only... NOTE 2: We were asked over 50 times if we were interested in some type of Time Share. Overall we enjoyed our trip, but we prefer Cancun or Cozumel. Probably wouldn't return to Cabo....

Room Tip: All of the rooms that we view were older and dated and didn't have a ocean view.

A great location and friendly staff. Lots to do. Weather seems to always be perfect. Walking distance to the town and marina. Thr resort is part of several resorts under the same ownership and all are run well. Always look forward to returning.
