“Frustrating and big brother is watching!”
Reviewed 28 July 2014 via mobile

From the time we arrived we were marketed to. Sales pressure from the lobby to do time shares, to every minute on the beach with locals selling trinkets and more time shares. This went on day and night!
No naps on the beach!
Every move you make is on camera too. New friends of ours from Richmond were escorted to the office and threatened with the loss of all inclusive privileges for giving a bottle of water to my wife and a sip of a drink to see if that is what she wanted to order. All of this was on film. It could have been handled much better.
I need a vacation from my vacation!

We arrived at the hotel and it had a relaxed atmosphere. We met "Andrea" at the front desk who had a beautiful smile and gave us a very warm welcoming. She was very attentive to our special needs and nothing seemed to be a problem. Andrea works extremely well with the public and is an invaluable asset to Pueblo Bonito.
Our housekeeper, Ana was fantastic too! She made beautiful towel sculptures on a daily basis and kept the room impeccably clean!
Erika at the concierge took the time to help us rectify a transportation problem and we really appreciated that.
The service at beach side was great....Margarita and Francisco being especially helpful & attentive!
The breakfast service was good too - David, Daniel, and Samantha were very kind and service oriented. We loved the new girl Natalie!
We did the all inclusive plan and are happy we did.
GREAT TRIP .... WE WILL BE BACK SOON!!!

Room Tip: Request an ocean view!

The short:
PB Blanco is AMAZING and we definitely recommend to anyone looking for gorgeous views, spacious and comfy rooms, close proximity to town, and wonderful staff. Great for families (lots of activities and great pool), couples (romantic and luxurious), and friend groups too.
The long:
My husband and I stayed at Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos (more commonly referred to as Blanco) for our honeymoon from June 9-16, 2014. From the amazing staff to the gorgeous and spacious rooms to the great location (just steps from the sand of Medano beach) this hotel was absolutely perfect and if we are ever lucky enough to return to San Lucas, we will definitely stay here again.
We arrived on a Monday early afternoon...after a long bumpy flight and a packed taxi ride to the hotel we were ready for the water and a drink!...our room was not quite ready but they locked up our bags and we got to explore for a bit. When we were able to check in, it was fast and painless. We mentioned to them that it was our honeymoon and when we walked into our room, the maid had written "Congratulations" in little pebbles and flowers across the bed. So sweet! We booked a one bedroom suite and it was very spacious. We were lucky enough for a ground level right by the pool and with amazing views of the ocean and Land's End. If you have the option, we definitely recommend a ground level as it just makes going to and from easier and quicker...we're constantly on the move when we're on vacation so climbing stairs or waiting for elevators is the last thing we want to do.
But really all of their rooms have wonderful views. I know because while there, I was scheduled for a phone interview for a job back home. Cell phones that don't cost an arm and a leg to call the U.S. with are not as easy to find as what research tells you online...anyways, when I finally found a cell phone (through TelCel) we returned to the hotel to find that there was no service to call...and I was down to one hour before the interview started at this point! So in a panic, we went to the front desk asking for help. They graciously let me use a top floor room that had just been checked out of earlier that morning to make the call (I got the job by the way! Woo!). If you need WiFi, there is free access from a little cafe right outside the front doors of the resort. You can purchase it for your room too but who wants to sit around surfing the web when the ocean's in your front yard?!
While there, we made friends with a bellboy named Franky. He was so kind, accommodating, and helpful with everything from giving us a hand with groceries to giving us insider tips and info about the best local spots to see and eat at. He was just genuinely nice and fun to talk with. All of the staff there is absolutely wonderful but we just happened to get to know Franky more.
Can't say much about the food at the resort because we stocked up on groceries at the beginning of our trip and made most of our own meals in our room. We also went with many of Franky's suggestions and ate at local hole in the wall places. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, the resort does not have it...we did eat there one night during the Mexican fiesta night. The food was really mediocre and extremely Americanized. Maria Jimenez has the BEST quesadillas and enchiladas EVER (but they're cash only!) and there are tons of great taco places as well. Also check out a Brazillian steakhouse called Madeira. Just ask Franky. He knows where to go. ;)
The great part about staying with PB is you not only have access to Blanco but also to the sister resorts on the peninsula (Rose' which is right next door as well as Sunset and Pacifica on the Pacific side of the point). Night life is much better at Rose'. There is a bar as part of the resort right by the beach there. The pools, all 7 of them, at Sunset are AMAZING. Be sure to check out the sky pool. You'll feel like you're on top of the world. Bring $1 bills everywhere with you especially here...they tote you around the cliffs on golf carts and really love tips. There is a free shuttle to get there from Rose and I believe they go to Pacifica as well. Definitely worth checking out the Pacific side of the point. The ocean there is not safe to swim in but the waves are AWESOME and you could easily spend an entire day exploring the many pools and riding around on golf carts at Sunset. So much fun! Do make sure you book seats for the return shuttle as soon as you arrive or you'll be stuck with a $15 cab ride.
Blanco is about a 15 minute walk to town (cabs are $8 each way no matter where you go in town so definitely worth walking). It feels safe and some pretty things to see along the way. We even walked a few times at night. Not a thing to worry about. Medano beach, which is perfectly safe to swim in, is right out front as well as water taxi stops to go across to Land's End. Definitely recommend snorkeling and a glass bottom boat tour to Pelican Bay at Land's End. Also go zip lining! I don't care how scared of heights you are...I'm the biggest baby I know and it was the funnest thing I've ever done in my life! Enjoy Los Cabos and your stay at PB Blanco! :)

Stayed here in July 2014 for 5 days. The rooms / suites were adequate but nothing fancy. The restaurants were average food but way over priced (Black coffee $4.50 then wanted tip $1 = more than Starbucks). The sum of all of the services was average at best (some employees were nice, sum were very grumpy). The pool area was the best part of this resort. The staff that serves you poolside were very friendly and quick. The prices were not bad when on "special". When at the resort and not walking around Cabo, mostly stayed in the pool. My advice is to visit the pool but eat your meals somewhere else....

Our main destination while staying at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco, was relaxing on the beach. While there, we had an AMAZING server, Margarito. He was so attentive, making sure to get us our drinks and food in a amazingly fast way (sometimes before we were even done with our current drink). He also always brought us a big bucket filled with ice and waters. He made sure to have a nice space for us on the beach, complete with an umbrella and table. We did the all inclusive, which I highly recommend. I cannot wait to come back and relax beach side see Margarito again!!!

Room Tip: The Presidential Suite is big enough for two couples traveling together.

We recently stayed at PB Blanco and from the first day Margarito was AMAZING! He was super helpful and attentive even though he was leaving for the day; he took care of us from day 1 to the end of our trip. He remembered our names and even our drinks. He saved us seats on the beach under the cabana without asking just so he could serve us ( He rocked!). We enjoyed the beach service by Margarito and many others as well as the Rose’s shows and restaurants. We can’t wait to go back again and enjoy all Cabo has to offer (and bring the kids). Don’t forget to tip for great service and it will continue to come.

My finance' and I just returned home from a wonderful vacation while staying at Pueblo Bonito Blanco. The staff was attentive and the room had a beautiful view. I had to take the time to specifically recognize a young man by the name of Jhandi. He was a young server who could not have been more customer friendly! Every morning we were welcomed with a "Good morning" and the beverage of our choice. Although there were many guests, Jhandi made it a point to make us feel special and went above and beyond his call of duty. Thank you Pueblo Bonito for having such a great staff to make our stay a memorable one!
