My boyfriend and i stayed here for 3 nights in late March. The location is very close to the marina area and surrounding shops/bars/restaurants. It's about a 15 minute walk to (the VERY busy) Medano beach, which is on the other side of the marina.

Our room was an end unit suite on the 2nd floor and it had a separate bedroom and kitchenette/living area. A fridge, microwave and dishes/cutlery were included. Everything was clean and the queen sized bed was comfortable. The bathroom window didn't have a screen on it, so we ended up keeping the bathroom door closed most of the time so bugs wouldn't invade the living space. There was also a bit of a funky odour coming from the shower drain but after travelling around Mexico, we found this to be pretty common.

If you're sensitive to noise, note that there is a busy Italian restaurant downstairs (it usually dies down by 10) and there is a church next door. On the Thursday and Friday nights we were there, a church band blasted music from the early evening until 10 or 11. We weren't too bothered by it, but beware if you want to go to bed early or want a peaceful night in.

Also of note is that the street the hotel is located on was under major construction while we were there. It made for a dusty walk into the hotel, but the work will likely be completed soon (hopefully). We didn't have a car so parking wasn't an issue for us, but not sure where you would leave your car if you had one.

All in all, Siesta Suites was great value for Cabo San Lucas. The owners were on site most mornings and were helpful with directions and suggestions.

Room Tip: There is a penthouse suite on the roof of the hotel that looked lovely but was booked while we were...

Thank you for your review. Yes, the street construction is FINALLY finished. They also replaced all sewer lines, which should help get rid of any funky smells. Glad to were easy going about the church. They do get loud, but calm down by bedtime. Hope to see you again in Cabo!

In a town where hotel rooms cost more, per night, than an average mortgage payment, it's refreshing to find a pleasant place to stay that won't require you take out a second mortgage in order to have some winter sun. The Siesta ticks all the boxes - clean, decent beds, plenty of hot water in a nice big shower, fridge to keep some drinks cool and a microwave to heat up leftovers. Located 1/2 a block from the marina, close to most of the good restaurants (including the on site Salvatores) the Siesta can't be beat for value. The only lack is a pool, but guests may use the pool at the Wyndham, across the street. The busy restaurant can be noisy but that dies down at 9ish. We travel to Baja by car, big poodle on board, and this is one of the few reasonably priced, pleasant places, in the area that welcomes our poodle. The place attracts budget travellers from around the world. Often interesting and eclectic groups. Nice owners and helpful staff run a tight operation here. - we'll come back for certain.

This hotel is the best deal in over 20 trips I have made to Cabo. Great downtown location, close to the marina, "land's end" and close to all the nightlife. My room was very clean & comfortable, A/C, Tiled bathroom and shower. They don't have a pool, but a sun deck with loungers and sunbrellas, all I need to get my Cabo tan . I stayed at another hotel the first half of my stay. It was the same price as Siesta Suites, but not as clean and not as well equipped. My room at Siesta Suites had a TV and a kitchen with fridge, a living area with sofa and table. I will stay here on my next trip to Cabo. Thanks Nancy & Alex!

Having stayed here before with girlfriends, I chose the same location for my husband and I. The hotel is small enough to be cozy, but comfortable enough and close to everything. The marina is within walking distance as is the beaches. I love the fact that I could run to the store for a late night drink and be able to keep it and any other leftovers refrigerated until my return form the beach. The restuarant below is to die for, and shouldnt be missed. Make reservations the night you arrive as they go quickly.
The road the hotel is on is under construction but dont be concerned as it seems every taxi driver knows where the place is. Manager/owners are always around if something comes up. Returning in June!!!

Room Tip: Try for a room on the 3rd floor, they are alittle more private....

Good place for couples or singles out doing lots of activities and only need a place to sleep. If you're looking for resort hotels with amenities, this is not your place. We came and went multiple times of the day and the place was adequate. The marina was right across the street behind the Wyndham Hotel, not even a 5 min walk. The restaurant was really convenient and served pretty large portions, cheaper than the other italian place down the street. We stayed on the 2nd floor over looking the restaurant/bar and honestly, it was only mildly noisy until 11 pm. The air conditioner is louder and if you closed the bedroom door a bit, it was fine. I liked the place because it had a little kitchenette with a fridge and microwave.

The only drawback was that the roads were being worked on in front and around the hotel at the time so walking around was really dirty.

Room Tip: Pretty much all rooms overlook the restaurant and the noise in inevitable. The noise dies down afte...

Thanks for staying with us and thank you for the review. I understand that the restaurant can be a little noisy, but people laughing and enjoying their vacation is so much nicer than people quiet and down in the dumps. right? =-) Hope to see you next time!
