“Great value for money in the heart of Cabo San Lucas!”

A lovely littel hotel in downtown Cabo San Lucas! You enter into a beautiful interior garden, passing by the reception with lots of useful information, friendly staff as well as the helpful owner Victor. The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and colorful. Free wifi Internet access and filtered water are also included. This hotel offers great value for money!

We only needed a room for one night, before moving to our timeshare on the beach, so we chose the Cabo Inn, due in part to the price, but also the reviews. We arrived before 1pm and our rooms were ready, check-in was quick, easy and personal. The staff were all friendly and gave us info, as to where to eat etc...We brought our luggage to our rooms and walked about town. The location is great, many local inexpensive places to eat, as well as shopping and bars. In the evening, we went to the rooftop Library room with our group of 9. We hung out, having cocktails, talking and listening to music. There is a small pool up there, but we did not use it, as the evening was chilly and the water wasn't warm enough for us. The whole place has a cozy family feel to it. The rooms are clean and cute. I would stay there again in a minute.

Atmosphere that is were you can meet people from all over the world. Having a central area for cooking, watching TV, relaxing. Stayed many times alone with a secure enviroment. A place to stay in town with walking to local merchants and real mexican food. Great owner and great decor. A place you'll never forget. A great price , with the same rates as 18 yrs ago. Thank goodness, not another resort! Thanks for a nice stay. Ill be back again.

I have been 5 times in cabo, 4 of them i stayed at Cabo Inn, and i will stay there each time i go to cabo.
The location is very good, just a few very few min to walk down to sopping malls, marina, beach, and " main " street. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is very nice and clean.
Best deal ever. Love it.

Very friendly and the Palapa 2 was fabulous. The hot tub was a godsend after a day on the beach, and walking to the bars.

Just spent an enjoyable four days at this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, and the bed is as comfortable as any hotel in the US - surprising for Mexico!
Just a block off the main drag, Easy walking to good restaurants and popular restaurants. Easy walk to marina, and beach.
Loved it!

Cabo Inn Hotel is a hidden treasure in Cabo! I can't speak highly enough about the hotel, or Victor (the manager) and his parents! They are warm, friendly and patient with every single customer! I wish all businesses cared as much as they do. We arrived in the afternoon after taking a shuttle from the airport. It should cost about $32 for two people (don't get hustled by the time share guys... they're the ones wearing pastel shirts with collars and lanyards. Go straight to an actual shuttle officer wearing white, official looking uniforms). The drive took about an hour & 10 minutes. We were checked in by Victor, and he explained that everyone in Cabo is always trying to get you to sign up for activities (parasailing, snorkeling, cruises, etc). He told us which pitfalls to avoid, and how to get the best deals (usually booking directly through the hotel because they have pre-negotiated discounts). He was right! We got a great deal on a booze cruise and snorkeling. He even gave us inside info on the upper limit of what to pay for a water taxi (about $4 per person tops).

We stayed in the Palapas #2, and it was beautiful, but here's where some people might have some problems:

1. Mosquitos. While there are mosquitos in Cabo (not just the hotel), the bed has ample mosquito netting so they didn't bother us at all.

2. Street noise. The Palapas are open-roofed layouts, so you will hear street traffic. There's more to be expected on weekends rather than weekdays. I thought all the noise would bother us during our stay, but it didn't because the rest of the building was so serene. We slept like babies while the traffic faded into the background white noise. If you're a light sleeper or someone who'll be bothered with traffic noise, you can book any of the other lovely rooms with doors that keep out all the noise. The Palapas are ideal for people who want a unique experience in a beautiful open-door room. It was really exotic, came with a jacuzzi, ample furniture and plants. It felt like living in a tree house. Absolutely stunning!

Victor also gave us some food recommendations of restaurants that are slightly off the beaten path (i.e., not on the strip where all the expensive, Americanized restaurants are). These are all within a block or two from the hotel, and by far had the best food we had in Cabo:

1. Mariscos las Tres Islas. Just walk left outside the front of the hotel, and make your first left. Walk two blocks and enjoy some of the best seafood in Cabo! Try the shimp tacos, incredible! Not to be confused with Mariscos Mazatlan, although that restaurant was great as well (to the immediate left of the hotel when you step outside). http://bit.ly/HE6f3H

2. Tres Gallos. About a half block to the right of the hotel when you step outside. Incredible food! The cochinita pibil was great, as were the enchiladas. Make sure to try the Mexican coffee... wow! Easily one of the best meals we had in Cabo.

3. Mariscos Mazatlan. Mentioned above. Great fresh food. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g152515-d2006535-Reviews-Mariscos_Mazatlan-Cabo_San_Lucas_Los_Cabos_Baja_California.html

4. Maro's Shrimp House. Not recommended by Victor, but incredible nontheless: http://bit.ly/InitR3 You get 2 lobster tails and 6 shrimp for $16! Fresh and delicious. A bit of a walk from the hotel (about a mile or so). You may need a map. It's near the harbor though, so you can't get lost.

Anyway, one of the great things about the hotel is that it has a commons area downstairs (and one upstairs) where people just hang out, eat, read or just relax. It's a great way to meet people, and feels almost like a hostel, without having to share a room or bathroom like a hostel. It's the best of both worlds. And if you're shy and want to keep to yourself, you can! But the option is there for you to socialize and meet new people, trade travel trips and experiences. And who knows? You may meet a fun group of people who may be looking for a few more people to charter a boat or go on an adventure.

I was even able to get some real work done downstairs on my laptop. The wi-fi signal is a bit weak in Palapas #2, but it wasn't a problem because there are so many open tables and seats to get work done just outside our room or downstairs. Sadly, we only stayed one night at Cabo Inn Hotel, but I promised Victor I'd write an awesome review and here it is. I'm not embeleshing at all, this place is great. If the Palapas aren't your style, ask to see some of the other unique rooms. They'd be happy to show you, and if you don't find anything you like, they can give you a great recommendation as well. They're just good, honest people who work here.

Location: 5/5, Cleanliness: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5, Service: 5/5. You pay for a hotel, but you get so much more!

Room Tip: The normal rooms are quieter and offer more privacy. The Palapas give you a unique experience you wo...
