“One of the top beaches in Cabo I believe”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

Awesome place to snorkel! They have sectioned it off so you can Kayak, snorkel, scuba, use water scooters and even try out some of the stand-up paddle boards. Of course if you just want to chill and enjoy the sun they have plenty of room for that!

“Great getaway from the resorts”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

We ventured on the city bus to Chileno - an adventure in itself. The bus driver forgot we were going there despite telling him as we boarded. A ways past he had to flag down a bus going in the opposite direction, stop our bus, and we had to sprint across the highway and catch a southbound bus which dropped us off. Only $48 pesos for two of us to ride the bus there. But there is no real bus stop to take the bus back towards Cabo San Lucas unless you hike up the highway a ways, so we ended up taking a $25 cab back to our resort. The beach is gorgeous - the views, the water, the palapas. The best snorkeling we had in Cabo by far. Spacious room to snorkel around. Some tour boats did come into the bay and dropped off lots of snorkelers, but they only stayed about 45 minutes and then leave. We brought a bottle of bread crumbs and the fish went into a frenzy, one actually bit my wrist, but nothing serious. Fun day and nice to get away from the resorts for a bit.

“fun snorkeling”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

We arrived here by boat and came for snorkeling. There was plenty of different varieties of fish. We were there very early around 9 am and the beach didn't look too crowded.

“Safe, great snorkelling, no vendors!!”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

We took the bus there for 24 pesos each. The bus is yellow and purple. We picked it up on Lazaro Gardenas outside Amerimed hospital. Took approx 20 minutes to get to the beach. Tell the bus driver where you want to go and he will drop you at the right place. To get a palapa (shade hut) try to get there before 10.30 during the week or take your own umbrella. Nice clean beach with recycle bins, wheelchair access, lifeguard on duty, toilets and fresh water showers. Snorkelling was excellent and we even saw a spotted eagle ray, a real bonus. We had our own snorkel gear. Return bus leaves from where you get dropped off so nice and easy. We didn't have any vendors trying to sell us goods either, that was a big plus!
