Owner description: A pristine white sand beach offering spectacular snorkeling.

This beach is very natural with no outside intervention. All you have are sand and ocean. If you wanted to bring umbrellas and coolers, go for it. There is only two ways to get to it .. by boat and by car (duh .. but the road to the beach is one way and winding down a hill). we booked a tour through Panchito Tours and they were the only ones to pick us up at the hotel and bring us the the beach. They provide lunch, bottled water/sodas, umbrellas, towels, snorkeling equipment, and a kayak. the tour is kayak/snorkeling/beach tour. Awesome because we had all three and transportation! Email me for details if you want to know about Panchito Tours but it was operated by a father and son and we happened to be the only family that day so that was cool. No crowds. We had time to swim at the beach so that was cool. Other tours will only take you to the beach, let you jump off, snorkel and then jump back on. No beach time. You also have to get transportation to the marina and back to your hotel if you didn't have a car. That is way too much hassle and money. This tour took care of all that. the snorkeling was good. You don't have to swim too close to the rocks bc at the bottom, there are rocks and fishes are there. I didn't go all the way out but I saw a lot of fish already so I can only imagine how much more out there.

We visited Santa Maria Beach/Cove on a catamaran cruise to do some snorkeling. The beach is beautiful as is the cove, but the snorkeling was average at best. The water was clear, but there just weren't that many fish.

I havent found a spot in Cabo that isnt beautiful. Hot snorkel spot. I got here by boat. Water is warmest in Cabo in summer and fall but water may be choppy.

Santa Maria beach was excellent for snorkeling and it was better then Chileno Beach for sure. The whole family had a great time and there was plenty of sea life to see. My teens also enjoyed it very much. This visit was part of an excursion and this was one of our stops.
