Can't find one single thing to complain about. The service was great. The food service by the pool was good. We ate at both restaurants and had great food and service. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. I't just a great place.

On top of that it's beautiful and perfectly tended. Understand as others have mentioned you are not permitted to enter the ocean. It's is just too dangerous and not allowed. Aside from that a great place to relax and take it easy.

If you visit the grand solmar lands inn make sure you spend your day at the adult pool at the brisas . The server Israel is the greatest . That guy made sure my glass was never empty. Top notched. Whenever myglas was empty he had a full one waiting. Tip him well he deserves it......

My last review of Grand Solmar focused on the many aspects of the resort that needed to change, get better or go away.

Go away - construction is done, almost, the stairs down to the beach collapsed and several of the massage cabanas also went into the ocean.

Get better- the single most positive aspect other than no longer having the resort built around you year after year without a hint of compensation was the opening of the sports bar.
Oscar and Alfonso run a great crew, they are real mixologists and prepare excellent food all day, finally a place to chill other than a pool bar or your room.
The issue of people trying to secure chairs by the pool while they tour Cabo (lol), seriously, you think it's cool to leave your crap on 10 chairs and not turn up for 2 hours?, no it is not.
Well done Grand Solmar and Francisco who is fair and polite but holds people to a reasonable go eat lunch, go grab something from your room, but don't be a baby when you arrive back from a 3 hour nap....
What makes the Grand Solmar work is the staff.
Nothing short of outstanding, well done.

Change- the owners breakfast which this year was a gem, yep we were all told that no one buys timeshares any more now they just buy outright, really...... seemed everyone sitting at breakfast must all be idiots because we all bought a timeshare.
It will be interesting to witness the next sales pitch when the new resort opens.
The privilege to leverage the equity we now have in our timeshare and pay more money so we can now get a title!.
No one buys a timeshare thinking they will make money, we buy them to have a great place to visit, connect with friends and punish our liver.
The Grand Solmar experience although great could be outstanding without the amateur sales crap we endure each year so we can get our black card.
Grand Solmar you have done a good job in so many ways.

As every year the Grand Solmar surpassed our expectations!! I traveled with my husband and my two kids ages 5 and 3. We all had a blast!! The rooms are amazing with ocean views, the staff are friendly and so kind. This year we enjoyed their Halloween party and "Día de los muertos" with live music and espectacular food!! We had an amazing time. I want to thank all the stuff of the resort but mainly to Roberto on the lobby/concierge who is always so friendly and has become a true friend to us. Also, a big thanks to J. Carlos, the sever and the Don Luis restaurant for being such a great server and for making us that "Mexican Coffee" with fire!! It was awesome, my kids were so excited and happy to see the little show :)
Until next year Grand Solmar!!!!! Counting the days ....

We had a great relaxing time, staff could not have been nicer. The coffee shop bar staff never stopped smiling. Pool side bar service was exceptional. Nacho, Monster and Jesus were always happy and provided great service. They gave us a room with a better view before I could even ask. Beautiful views and friendly staff is what makes this place a great vacation spot.
