“Hidden Treasure!”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

Amazing healthy homemade food, fresh green juice made to order, all local suppliers, homemade goats cheese, local farmers market a couple times a week! Very small and hidden in Pedregal. LOVE coming here daily if I could!! Wonderful woman runs it!

“Cute and a little out of the way”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

We ventured here on a Monday morning to try the restaurant, purchase some provisions at the organic market, and visit the jewelery stall-Reflections of Cabo. That plan would have worked out much better on a Wedn or Saturday morning because the Pedregal Organic Market is closed on Mondays (contrary to the information on the website). The cafe is up a hill (seniors may want to take a cab) but is certainly walkable from the Puerto Paraiso Mall. I found the food to be average-the pastries a bit stale-the bread decent enough. they have a wide selection of blended drinks with wholesome organic ingredients. The ambiance is pleasant and they play american popular standards in the background.

“Puzzled by the Number 1 Ranking..”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

My husband and I visited Penny Lane Café for breakfast expecting something pretty special after reading all of the great reviews.

We were both disappointed with our meals - I had the eggs benedict which was average - ham was terrible, it was that recompressed ham that you carve like a salami (not dissimilar to spam). Hollandaise sauce was too runny and coffee was burnt.

My husband had fried eggs with toast and bacon - the toast was cut up into little pieces which was very unusual and made it difficult to eat. The refried black beans were ok.

I'm puzzled by the number 1 ranking as this cafe is in a remote location with nothing else around, and the meal was nothing better than average.

Service was ok, waiters were friendly.

“Second time around”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

As delicious as the first time. This trip we had breakfast and everything was so fresh. We happened to be there on market day and wow it was amazing to be able to buy to much fresh produce to take back to the house.
Thank you Monica for making this the very place in Cabo.

“Great food and incredible service.”

Some folks at the pool referred us to Penny Lane Cafe. We journeyed there and were pleasantly surprised with the shaded outdoor seating. Super clean atmosphere. The staff was so well trained....coffee cup never got more than a third empty before refilling. We shared a cinnamon roll that was perfectly cooked to the heart and smothered with icing. We shared the special that I can't remember the name of.....but it was killer. Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, toast, and pastries came with the special. We were stuffed to the gills when we left. The owner, Monica invited us back for the organic market on Saturday.....we plan to go. If you are in Cabo....dont miss this place for breakfast.
